The men walked by without noticing the younger man hidden at the side. Vin emerged when they were completely out of sight, and he tried to figuring out where they had come from.
Continuing down the path, Vin stared at the house he formerly lived in with his brother and cousins. He frowned, and from the corner of his eyes, he saw a guard approach. Vin turned and Hus gaze landed on Staff. The guard bowed, and Vin asked, "Saff, who are the people that gave come to visit today?"
Saff was confused by the question at first, but answered, "I haven't seen anyone come to visit today, Your Highness." Vin looked back at the house, and then nodded, dismissing Saff.
