Chapter 2
Half an hour later I was once again trying to get everybody's attention. The acting troupe had arrived on time and quickly reconnected with old acquaintances. New acquaintances were made, and before long they were all chatting like old friends.
I was happy to see that as soon as I called for attention, the actors became the professional group I had anticipated. It took far less time to bring the group to order this time around, and soon we were divided up into groups going over different scenes of the plays to be performed.
I stood back and watched the action going on around the room and smiled to myself. I could tell that this was going to be a success. Between the enthusiasm and professionalism in front of me, the town was going to be delivered a top rate performance of both
