CRASH!!!

I suddenly woke up from a sound sleep. Oh my goddess what was that!? I climb out of bed as quietly as I can. I didn't hear anything, maybe I imagined it. I tiptoed to my parents room to go find my momma. Daddy is not home tonight because he is out patrolling the boards to our pack land. It is so very dark in our hallway. There's really no lights and I can't see anything. I hear a thumb from downstairs. I am starting to freak out. There's a very trashy smell coming from downstairs. I wanted to throw up from the smell. I finally make it to momma's room and slowly open the door and shut it behind me as softly as I can. I walk over to momma to wake her up. "Momma please wake up!" as I climb on the bed I whisper. "Please momma wake up, I heard a noise downstairs." I finally shake her awake. She blinks at me a few times as she sits up to comfort me as she sees that I am scared.

My name is Keri Ann Summers and I am only 7 years old. I have long soft curly light brown hair and hazel eyes. My parents are the head warriors of the pack. I look exactly like my momma and my Daddy, he is 6 foot tall Dark brown hair and green eyes. They were my entire world.

"Hey baby girl, what are you doing up and out of bed for? Why do you look scared did you have a nightmare?'' she asked with a worried look in her eyes. As I was about to tell her what was going on we heard someone coming up the stairs. My eyes grew scared as I started to sweat in fear. Momma looked at me and put her finger over her mouth indicating that I should be quiet. I nod letting her know that I understand. Then we hear the door at the beginning of the hall open up as it creaks loudly. My eyebrows shoot up in worry, someone is in the house looking for something. Momma climbs out of bed and takes me to hide under the bed where there is a trapped door. I never knew that it was there. She motions for me to climb in. "Stay quiet, don't come out till I come get you. ok?" "Yes momma I understand." "That's my girl."

She stood up and turned around right as someone came into the room. I hear momma ask " who are you?" I can definitely tell you that it's a rogue. The smell is terrible. I peaked out to see if I can see anything, but all I see is the bottom of their legs. "My name Is Alpha Marcus of the rogues and I'm here to collect my special prize. Where is she!?" he said in a deep dark voice. That voice will give me nightmares. My mother started to say, "I don't know who you are talking about, it is just me here."

"That is a lie,'' the intruder said,'' Where is the little girl? I know she is here. I saw her room. I can smell her all over the house."

My heart was beating a mile a minute when he said that. Why does he want me? What does he need me for? I tried to slow my heartbeat down so he wouldn't hear me. My mom again said, "there is no one here but me so get out." I can hear the stranger's low growl as he is getting impatient, then all of a sudden there is commotion around the room. They are fighting now. I am looking out of the trapped door and my mamma is putting up a fight but then he lands on top of my mom and snaps her neck right in front of me. My eyes open wide as saucers as tears start to roll down my cheeks. I don't make a noise knowing if I do everything momma just did would be for nothing.

Someone else came in the door right after the man stood up "we need to find her quick we will not last much longer. We have already lost enough of our people tonight."
