DIVYA POV My eyes slowly flutter open but everything hurts. As I blinked through the entire pain, my first thought wondered why I was in Eddie's basement again. Had things changed again? Nothing seemed to make sense to me as I felt the damp air and the smell of misery hung thick in the air. I couldn't help but think if Eddie was nearby but I could sense his presence. Panic threatened to overwhelm my entire body but then I remembered that there was a child growing inside of me. Panic wasn't an option right now because I knew that I needed to fight to survive. I took a deep breath before letting my hands wander around my surroundings. I lay on my side on a bed with a threadbare blanket draped over my legs. Which meant someone had tried to make me a little bit comfortable. I didn't know
