The King's Only True Love

There are 4 kingdoms. The East kingdom, The North King, The West Kingdom (Westland), and lastly the Kingdom of The South (Elvanor). The other kingdoms were united except for the Kingdom of the south which was ruled by a very wicked king who wanted his country to have nothing to do with other nations. A young king who was wicked, brutal, and coldhearted to his people. He showed no mercy to them. If brutality and cold heartedness were a person, then it would be the king of the South. King Emerald was born cold-hearted and grew up to be brutal, everyone feared him including his uncle. He had no weakness and had a loveless heart, but when he set his eyes on Acacia for the first time she became his weakness and his loveless heart started beating for her. Will the love he has for her make him change to a kind king? Or is being wicked a curse? ************ 27 years ago…. "Push! Push! Your Majesty, I can see the baby's head coming out. You have to push harder for the baby to come out" the midwife said as she urged the queen to push harder. The queen breathed in and out to gather more strength before pushing again with all her might "Haaaaa! Haaaaa!" She screamed to push the baby out. "I don't think I can do this," The queen said in tears. "You can do it, your Majesty, just push again one more time," The midwife said. "Haaaaa! Haaaaa!" She screamed as the cry of a baby was heard and a smile appeared on her face. "What's the gender," the queen asked "It's a boy your highness," The midwife said in happiness " A king has been born" Queen Laura smiled heartily " Let me see" The child was brought to her and she carried her baby " You are as handsome as your father and you will rule over Elvanor" she said as she kissed her baby's forehead. Outside the labor room, the king stood anxiously as he waited for good news. "Your majesty" A maid rushed toward him "Tell me," the king said with a deep voice "The queen has given birth to an heir," the maid said and joy of laughter was heard as the king walked into the labor room to see his new heir. "My king" The queen looked up at the king who approached her on the bed "He looks just like you," she said as both of them looked at their child "I can see that," the king said in joy "What should we name him?" The queen asked "Emerald," the king said. "Emerald suits him," the queen said as she adored her baby. "You can't go in milady" a maid as knights prevented the formal queen from getting into the room. "What is she doing here?" Queen Laura said as she looked at the king in anger "I don't know, why don't we find out" "Are you going to let her in?" the queen said in bewilderment " That is the only way we can know what she is here for," the king said to her " Let her in" he commanded and the guards let her in. The queen stared at her in anger and hatred "What are you doing here?" She asked with a harsh tone "I came to say a blessing to the future king," Miranda said Queen Laura laughed "Oh please spare me all that" "What are you doing here Miranda?" The king asked "To give my blessing to your newborn son king Albert" "She just wants to give a blessing to the future king" king Albert said " I queen Laura will not let her touch my child," she said in anger " You took my husband away from me, you took away my position. So the least you can do is allow me to say a blessing to this child" Miranda said Laura glared at her "Just let her" The king said and she complied. Miranda approached the child in his mother's hand and placed a hand on his head. She closed her eyes and murdered some words before opening them and saying "My your name be great, may you become the most powerful king to ever rule Elvanor, May you be feared by your subjects, and may you show wickedness, cruelty, brutality, and be unmerciful to them. I curse you this day onward that you will never show kindness, but will always be evil" " Get away from my son you evil witch!!" Queen Laura screamed at Miranda as she pushed her against the wall and Miranda fell to the floor laughing. " Ha ha ha ha, that is for all the pain you have made me pass through," Miranda said as she laughed more evil. " Guards! Guards!" King Albert called the guards and rushed into the room. " Yes your majesty," they said " Take her and lock her in the dungeon" he commanded and they did as he had said "Ha ha ha ha" Miranda laughed as she was being carried away. "You shouldn't have allowed her to touch our son!!" Queen Laura shouted in anger "I have made a mistake and I need to correct it," the king said " We have to make her reverse the curse," he said. " Figure it out yourself," she said as she glared at him, " My son," she said as she kissed his forehead. The following day Miranda committed suicide and there was no way they could reverse the curse. The king and queen were devastated. "She said he was going to be feared and be the most powerful king, so we do not have anything to worry about," Queen Laura said, trying to console herself. "She said he was going to be a wicked king and will show no mercy to his people," The king said worriedly "Do you expect a powerful king to show kindness?" She asked " Shut up Laura!!" Kim Albert shouted at her " This is all your fault" " And yours too, now we have to live with it," she said as she fired back at him. They had both watched Emerald grow as his wicked nature kept on showing. They had called a seer who said that only genuine (True) love could break the curse. Would he ever love anyone genuinely?
