Chapter 4May 29, 2002, evening, senior pool party David searched for Kaden. He’d hoped that before graduation, and before they both went away for the summer that they’d have a quiet moment alone but coming to a loud seniors-only pool party wasn’t what he wanted. The community pool was decorated in mermaids and mermen art, probably done by the seniors in the art class. He wouldn’t have been surprised either if Kaden also drew some of the art.
