ETHAN We are just finishing dinner when the first reports came in from our scouts. They were under attack from sirens. Dad, Reef and I rush to the ocean and leap in, shifting into our sirens in the air. What we saw turned my blood to ice, they were no longer sirens, their scales no longer shone with color, but were dull and blackened. Their fins were ragged, and their eyes, my god, their eyes were lifeless and sunken. We joined the attack, but there was so many of them, Dad called for us to retreat to the land, but as we aproached the shore mama linked us, they were being attacked on land as well.
