Eighteen: Crimson Ashland             There was singing. A deep, throaty, elderly woman’s voice. Grandmothers. “Moon and Sun, Run, run, run, Moon and Sun, run to find the one….” But Grandmother couldn’t be there. I was at Castle Lupine. I was participating in The Mating Season, because I didn’t have a choice. “Crimson….” I heard my grandmothers voice say, and I felt her hand stroking my forehead.
