I was tired and my hands were very sore. I managed to finish washing and hanging all of the clothes that I was asked to do. There were a couple of wounds and blisters on my hands from all the washing that I did today. It was exhausting, but at least I finished everything and I wouldn't get an earful from Lucian. I sighed heavily as I finally hung the last few pieces of clothes. I headed inside as I wiped my hands on the dress. I sighed heavily as I made my way to the kitchen to grab myself something to drink.
"Hey, princess." Somebody called out in the dark, making me jump and almost dropping the glass and the pitcher of water.
I turned around and saw Asmodeus standing by the counter with a smirk plastered on his face.
"You're jumpy tonight." He pointed out as he slowly approached me.
