I thought about it for a while before nodding to myself. I let Kaia take full control of my body as I slowly shifted. It felt good to finally let Kaia out and let her paws touch the ground. This time we don't have to worry about getting punished for shifting and wanting to go on a run. This time we are free, probably not safe, but we are free. We took in the sight of the open land and took a deep breath. The fact that we could easily just run away from all of these was overwhelming, but I knew that running away would be useless, since we would be running away from the King of both the werewolves and the underworld.
