Chapter 3The next night the club was packed. Shane was busy behind the bar as Jupiter mingled among the guests. At one point, Jupiter noticed a lone guest sitting at a table in a corner, his eyes on Shane, watching his every move. Jupiter wondered what his interest was in Shane. A sudden surge of murderous jealousy rose up in him. He’d just found Shane and wasn’t about to let him slip through his fingers this quickly. He walked over to the table and said, “Hi. I’m the owner, Jupiter Marston. Is there anything I can help you with?” Indicating toward Shane, he said, “How long has he been here?” Jupiter glanced over at Shane, and then back at the stranger. “This is his first night. Is there a problem?” Jupiter glanced down at the man’s drink. “Is there something wrong with your drink?” “Gi
