Serene hurried out of the car and searched for the source of the voice that had been calling to her.
The speed of her heartbeat rose as she looked around to find Bella. She shouted again to call her attention but she never heard a voice calling to her again.
She could not see Maribella anywhere.
"Baby! Maribella ?! Mommy's here! Where are you?!" She shouted as she walked down the road, back to the place they passed before. Maybe they passed Maribella, maybe they were too far away so she couldn't hear her.
Behind her followed Rio and some of the NAMG soldiers, along with David and Regan, who seemed to be searching as well.
"Maribella!" Serene shouted and Rio held her.
