Serene stared at Rio who was sleeping soundly next to her. She smiled at him then stroked his hair.
"I know you're having a hard time too, but just like you said, we can handle this. Oh.. I love you so much, Rio." She said softly before kissing his forehead.
She got up and put on her clothes that were scattered on the floor. She headed outside to cook breakfast. While preparing their breakfast, she brewed some coffee and poured it on her cup, when her cellphone rang.
She saw that it was Astrid, so she answered it immediately. "Hello, Astrid?"
"Good morning, Serene .. girl, what did I just hear? Is it true?" Astrid asked her.
Astrid had stayed at the Acropolis for a long time, so it was probably just now that she found out about Ace.
