~ JAMIE ~
.
"This is fun, isn't it?" I snickered as I skipped around the living room, while poor Maria and the two other idiots - whose names I have not bothered to ask yet - seemed pretty flabbergasted by the situation as they knelt down on the floor with their heads bowed.
"Jamie..." Maria gritted out. "Don't do this. You are going to be in big trouble when the Alpha gets to know of this."
"Oh yeah?" I stopped and grinned. Goddess, I am sure I look like a psychopath right now. "Who is going to tell him?"
I slowly walked over to them, crouching down in front of them. "Do any of you plan to rat me out to the Alpha?"
"No, Luna." The two wolves said immediately but Maria said nothing.
"Maria?"
"As long as you have the authority, Luna."
Sassy as ever. She should be my sidekick.
"That's more than enough for me." I smiled.
She looked up at me and from her wide eyes, I could say that she was scared that I was going to do something big.
Basically, I haven't planned anything big yet. The idea is to have as much fun as I can in the next few months or hopefully a year or two when stupid Alpha is away.
I am counting on the wizarding world to extend my vacation.
But yeah, I am going to go on vacation, do whatever outdoor activities I could before I was locked away in that golden cage of an estate again.
Am I a plotting witch just because I want that?
Probably.
"Jamie..."
I like Maria but she is really getting on my nerves right now.
"Yo Blondie, what's your name?" I nodded at the hunkier one among the two wolves sent to 'guard' me.
"Felix, Luna."
"And you?"
"Ody."
"Odysseus?" I asked.
He looked... embarassed? And then he nodded.
Aww. His name is Odysseus? Why couldn't my parents give me some cool name? Who names their kid Jamie?
"Alright, Ody Ane Felix. Call me Jamie from now on." I clapped happily and then said, "Get up, get up. All of you get back on your feet."
Maria moved forward as soon as she was up. "Jamie, this is not right."
"Bruh, you are telling me what's right and wrong?" I raised a brow.
I turned to Ody. "Ody baby, do you know what I was called before I became the Luna of our pack?"
"The plague." He said a little too quickly and then gulped, looking between me and Maria.
"Exactly. You think the plague cares what is right or wrong?"
"Jamie..."
"Jeez woman!" I threw my hands up in the air in surrender. Why was she such a nagging old woman in the body of a thirty year old?
"I am not planning on any killing spree. I just want to enjoy freedom while I can. Is that too much to ask?"
Who would have thought a day would come when someone would have nagged me into revealing my great plans for my vacation?
Curse your stupidity, Maria!
"What are you planning?"
I pouted. And I did not like the looks on Ody and hot Felix's faces - it screamed "She really is crazy, isn't she?"
Shouldn't these bastards be eternally grateful that I did not unleash my bloodthirsty wolf on them? Oh wait, they don't know about my pretty wolf. Oops.
"I just wanna chill!" I whined. Okay, very mature Jamie!
"Felix and Ody, please go back to your apartment." Maria said.
I narrowed my eyes. Does this woman think she is the Luna?
"And you pack your bags as well." I told her.
She blinked. "What do you mean?"
"You also move in with these people. I want the whole apartment to myself." I shrugged.
I am a spoilt little brat who always got what I wanted. And I am going to act like it.
"Jamie..."
I ignored her and turned to the boys, clapping my hands. "Alright boys, we don't know how long we are going to be here. It will be as long as the war goes on, so let's get along well, okay?"
They looked uncertainly at Maria who just sighed and opened her mouth, probably to say something to get on my nerve, because it never came. She sighed again and nodded at them.
Jeez, I am surrounded by people who don't know how to have any fun.
Yes yes. I know I am a serial killer. I was once the most feared and feral wolf on this continent but still... I am trying to change my ways so they should be more accommodating of me as well, right?
Yeah sure.
I really am a self-entitled brat! I honestly think that anyone would ever expect me after the amount of damage that I have done in those years. Seriously?
Now I feel depressed.
"Maria, pack your bags and move in with them and then we need to conduct a meeting on how I want this place to be renovated and designed to suit my taste." I gestured to the ugly apartment I was currently stuck at.
Maria looked really disappointed and almost done with life, but she still nodded. Oh well, it's not like there is anything else she can do about the situation.
The three left and the way they kept turning back, I am sure that they think I am going to run away the first chance that I get.
But no my children. I will never do that. I don't think I will last a day without Rowan's credit card. And he will track me with ease if I go anywhere in the world with it.
And I am not an i***t to leave all my luxuries in the first place.
Plopping down on the couch, I turned on the TV. It was all human stuff going on. I wished there was a special broadcast of what was going on on the war front. After all, this war could wipe out the entire world if it got too heated.
But then again, how the hell do the werewolves even plan to fight the witches and wizards? Not to put down my own species, but they really don't stand a chance against the magic of those psychos.
Also, I wonder if all the witches and wizards are crazy and want to go on with this wretched war. I know they are more arrogant and self-centered than humans. And that's saying something. But there would still be some people among them who would see sense right?
I don't know. And I shouldn't care either. It's not like any of them can kill me, anyway.
I stared at the ceiling and scrunched my face at the tacky chandelier hanging from it.
Jeez, this place needs a makeover.
