Oh, man.... This place is freaking creepy.... It's getting dark and we need to get to Olympus now! I have a bad feeling about this forest of Olympus. And I thought we could get to Olympus in just a single day. Damn, I should've prepared for it. This is not what I expected! I thought Olympus has an escalator or something so that those who don't have the powers to travel can get there sooner and don't have to endure this stinky place. I think the stink is coming from animal feces, dead animals, and the dark soil below us. I felt that we might get into trouble so I wore my contact lenses instead of my glasses. To think about it, I almost forgot that I wear glasses because I got used to contact lenses. I put my glasses inside a hard case and into my pocket.

Darius is leading the way, and he is holding a flashlight but the mist absorbs the light so we can't see very far. This is almost like in the movies we watch on Hades Day. Coincidentally, it is a full moon tonight, so we can see the large moon at the east - the direction in which Olympus stands. It's not that I am scared, it is just bothering me that there is a place like this in the face of the Earth. Maybe we got lost and went into the Underworld? If so, I will find Lady Mila here and she will help me. No, no, no... I think she will make me suffer. I know that because she's a psychopath.

Meanwhile in the Hayashi House:

"Achoo!" sneezed Mila as she combed Aurelia's hair before they go to bed.

"What's the matter, Mila?" asked Aurelia. "You got the Divine Cold?"

"No, it's nothing," she answered while rubbing her nose. "just some of your hair got into my nose."

If this is the Underworld, then we have to get out of here. The trees are very old, there are skulls and bones of dead animals everywhere, and earlier I saw a huge cobweb! Man... What kind of spider can spawn that huge cobweb? And I sense creatures lurking everywhere! I don't know what they are and what they look like. But something stupidly creepy and weird happened earlier. When we were walking, there was a giant centipede as thick as our body and as long as a bus! It came after us but out of instinct, I knew that Darius is gonna attack it so I did. We squashed it with our strength and it gave off smelly stuff!!! Damn! I can still smell it on my fists!

I don't know if we can climb on Olympus in one piece. Wait... what am I thinking?!! I'm gonna be the King of Olympus! If this kind of thing is enough to scare me, then I am not fit to become the King!!! Yes, nothing can scare me here!

"What's that?!" I exclaimed and Darius got startled as I followed behind him. "Damn.... something rustled behind that bush, Darius." I pointed at the bush at our right.

"Nah... don't be a girl....," he said with no trace of fear. "This forest now belongs to Darius! Hahahahaha!" he laughed very hard and his laugh echoed throughout the woods.

Then "Hihihihihihihi," the forest answered.

"What the heck?!!" I exclaimed.

"Don't worry it's nothin'. It was just an echo!"

"No, I don't that was an echo. I think we should start a camp somewhere safe. Oh, there!" I pointed at the cave just right in front of us after we got near to see it. "Let's spend the night there."

He nodded and he led the way to the cave and we stopped.

"Hey, why are you stopping?" I asked then he jumped! "What the-"

"ARGH!!!" he screamed as he jumped to the side.

I saw the huge head of the snake coming from the cave. "Oh my-" It lunged forward with its mouth wide open and it is bigger than me! "ARGH!!!" I screamed as I dodged to where Darius is. Then there was a loud c***k and thud of its jaws when it closed.

Then Darius stood up and pointed at the snake. He roared, "How dare you attack us, you cold-blooded, legless reptile!"

Wow, that's actually an accurate definition of a snake... but, "Hey!" I yelled as I pulled him away from the snake - that is already preparing to lunge an attack again. We dodged as I pulled him. "Do you wanna die?!!" I screamed at him.

"I will not die! I will pound that reptile into a lady's shoe! Let go of me!" he struggled as I pulled his arm.

"No, we have to get to Olympus without becoming dinner for a giant snake! The King of Olympus that you have to beat is there on Olympus, not inside that snake!"

"Right!" he agreed and we escaped far from the snake.

I made sure there are no other creatures around by using my senses before saying, "Okay, no caves, we go up and that's on the trees."

I chose a tree that is tall and climbable for us. It is a thick and tall tree that its branches are thick more than enough to support us. Although, it doesn't have leaves. And weirdly, it is a tree with two trunks that meet at the top. It's weird but considering everything we saw in this forest up until now are all weird, then this would be normal.

I jumped on the nearest trunk first and jumped to the upper. Then I saw Darius following bellow me. I managed to get to the most top part of the tree and it has a weirdly flat top like it's been snapped, cut, or something. Then there are two big branches as big as the trunk at opposite sides of this tree. Weird....

"Okay," I said to Darius as he placed himself at the other big branch while I decided to sleep on the other big branch. "We sleep here for the rest of the night and continue in the morning."

We prepared our things in our places and I lied down the barky surface of the branch then I saw the stars above.

I started to close my eyes and Darius asks, "Leo, do stars move?"

"Of course, they do," I answered. "The Earth spins on its axis and revolves around the sun so that's why the stars move from our perspective. So, let me sleep now."

"Well, can you explain why are there only two fastly moving big stars in the sky with a black dot inside them?"

"What?" I asked as I opened my eyes. I swallowed as I realized he meant what he said.

Two stars...

Moving....

"UFO?" I asked.

"Maybe they are falling stars."

"No, no, no, meteors don't vibrate rapidly like that. That could be a satellite."

"But wait.... why is it on the tree?"

"What do you mean?"

"Watch," he said as I saw him coming where it is. "It's a marble! Lucky me!"

He used his fingers to get it out of the wood then the tree shook so hard with low scream-like noise!

"Argh!" I grunted while grabbing onto a branch so I won't fall. "Darius, what did you do?!!"

"I don't know, but ehhh..... the marble was wet and sticky."

Then a large wood that looked like a hand came towards Darius but he jumped and it hit the tree in a loud crushing and brushing sound. Leaves and barks exploded from it.

He stood on top of the tree and then asked "What was that?" calmly.

"Nothing good," I answered when I realized something as I saw the wooden face before me after the hand removed itself. I took a deep breath and screamed, "IT'S A MOVING TREE!!!"

"What?!!"

"Let's get out off of here, now!"

"Woah!"

The tree started to shake and wiggle, and we struggled to hold on.

"Stop it, you stupid tree!" cursed Darius as he stomped the tree's head.

"Hey! You're making it angrier!"

"I am the only one who has the right to be angry! I thought that was a good huge marble and this stupid tree here, fooled me!"

"Darius, dodge!" I cried when the hand swung upwards and into the head of the tree.

He punched it and it got destroyed into pieces. He roared, "You dare to attack the one who is gonna surpass all of the Kings of Olympus, huh?!!!!"

He prepared his right foot upward in a split, then launched a powerful heel kick on the tree's head and the head got destroyed and green slimy stuff splashed at us.

"What is this... pwehh... stuff?" I asked while spitting.

"Tree blood," he said folding his arms as he was full of the tree blood.

"Why did you kill it?!!!"

"Well, he tried to kill me first! I have no choice!"

"We could've escaped and let it be!"

"Escape is for cowards!"

"Argh!" I grunted and pulled my hair. Now, I feel like I'm an accomplice of a murderer of mythical creatures.

The tree began to fall slowly and we waited until we are near the ground then we jumped just before the tree slammed on the forest floor.

"We got to stop making trouble in this forest, Darius!" I yelled at him.

"Or what?"

"There's something about this forest that is watching us. We are strangers here, so we must pay the forest respect. But here you are: already killed someone!"

"So, what? It was just a damn tree!"

"That was a mythical creature! They are under the protection of the gods! If you keep doing that, we won't be allowed to get inside Olympus!"

"I don't care about Olympus! I'll surpass every god that is living there!"

"This is not going anywhere," I shook my head while rubbing my eyebrows. "Let's just move on-"

A thundering roar startled me as I turned around and saw a huge lion, bigger than the Tiny the Bull. I swallowed, ran away while pulling Darius, and screamed, "RRRUHHHHN!!!!

"What are you talking about?" said Darius while we are running and the lion started to chase us. "We can take this thing head-on!"

"No!! That's a Nemean Lion like what Hercules from the legend killed!"

"Then we can kill it!"

"Not a chance! It has a tough hide as hard as your Sword Breaking!"

"Your name starts with Leo and you're afraid of a lion."

"That's not a normal lion!!"

"I'll handle this!" He forcefully pulled his arm from my grip and faced the charging lion.

He's gonna punch it? I am too late to pull him back so I just watched the lion lifting its giant paws then Darius dodged it to deliver a power punch at the face of the lion.

"Yaarghh!!" he growled in exertion. I felt the power of that punch it is his most powerful punch yet. "What?" he shouted confusingly as the lion wasn't hurt a bit.

He stepped back and avoided being bitten. Then he didn't expect the incoming horizontal scratch from one of its giant claws but he managed to use SB (Sword Breaking) to avoid getting sliced into pieces as the trees got sliced as they were caught up in it.

"Argh!!!" cried Darius in pain and I smell blood! He is wounded by that swipe!

I used, "GRAVITATIONAL PULL!!!" then I was able to pull him towards me in an instant and he avoided being killed. I deactivated my power and other debris in my body fell down. We ran away and I saw his arms bleeding but not that deep.

"Crap!" he exclaimed. "That lion is tough!"

"I told you so!"

"ARGHH!!!" we screamed as we ran fast, not minding where we are going.

I looked back and the lion stopped chasing us. Then there's this giant boulder as big as a house in the middle of the bushes and trees. We jumped over it and we got a better view of the forest floor although it is misty and very dark. I turned around to check behind us and I see an eyeball as big as my head near my face.

"OGRE!!!" I screamed and we ran away.

"I'm a cyclops!" answered the creature. "Nahhh, forget it, you people are the same!"

I heard it talking but unable to decipher what it meant but it doesn't matter! We need to get somewhere safe! This place is crazy! I don't wanna come back here again if I managed to get out. I looked back and the ogre didn't chase us. Then Darius stopped in front of me that I bumped into him.

"What the heck, Darius?" Then I gasped when I saw trees full of cobwebs. Then swarms of giant spiders crawled toward us! "RUHHHN!!!"

"Argh!!!" we screamed.

I screamed from the top of my lungs, "What's going on?!!!"

Then the ogre sang, "Yehh... yehhh.... yehhh... hehey" as he ate something from his finger right after he picked his nose. "Oh!" he said as he raised his single eyebrow after looking at us. "I am-"

The boys passed by the cyclops's feet while screaming and being chased by a horde of spiders that didn't bother him. "Goodbye!" he waved his hand.

There was a loud screeching and I smell something that smells poisonous! I looked back and there are smoking hot black stuff that are coming toward us.

"Flying punch: Sonic Strike!" Darius stopped them and some splashed beside us and it sizzled on the dry leaves.

Then out of my instinct, "Phantom Punch:" The biggest spider got punched as soon as it appeared in front of us. "Fist of Six!" It got knocked away as I punched in the air. "It can teleport!!!" I yelled at Darius.

"What?" he asked confusingly.

Then the spider suddenly disappeared in front of us.

Behind me, I saw its venomous fangs already an inch away from me.
