The God of Gravity part 2: Olympus

Star Section

We landed in front of the crystal gate of the Academy where a lot of deities gathered. They have the same uniform as ours but the colors of the skirts and pants varied. They stepped aside and marveled at the sight of us. Ah, I mean the three goddesses, now that Lady Juliet and Hyeon joined us as they waited in front of the gate. Hyeon wore the same color of pants as mine and Lady Juliet wore black as what Lady Mila wore. Then from here, I can see the huge school building that looked like a mini Palace of Olympus but it is still freaking huge!

"Let's go," said Lady Mila and as their escorts, we boys walked behind them. "Just shut up, don't mind them, and follow behind us." Darius and I nodded.

I can hear the chattering and whispers of the other deities as we walked through the gate and to the pathway that ran in between a garden in front of the Academy. I enhanced my sense of hearing so I heard even the most silent whisper they spoke.

A god saw the three and he exclaimed, "It's the goddesses!"

"Wow, they're so beautiful!"

"I wish I could get to be their friend."

"The daughters of the Olympians..."

"Is that Lady Mila and Lady Juliet?"

"Yes."

"They already got the Third Seats of Olympus Mons, right?" asked a goddess.

"Really?!!" exclaimed another beside her.

"That's what I've heard."

"They aren't rumors, they're true." said a god behind them. "Lady Mila and Lady Juliet are the smartest but I heard there are supposed to be three of them," We are getting farther from him as we walked to I could barely hear the next words he said. "They say that he is the best among the three. I am not sure but I heard his name was.... Jas-"

"And Lady Aurelia looks so elegant with her golden hair!" exclaimed a girl.

"I heard she can read minds."

"Wow! Really?"

"Yeah."

"Maybe she's reading my mind right now."

"But you nothing in it for her to read," laughed a god.

Damn, it's just the first day and they're already this popular. I am quite surprised when I noticed that they aren't amused by the attention they get. They just walked straight and I can't see any folds on their cheeks from behind so I can say that they're not ginning or smirking or something. Lady Aurelia just has a lollipop in her mouth and walked properly at the right of Lady Juliet. Lady Mila is at her left so Lady Juliet is in the middle. I am sure that they can hear all of them because they are talented deities but they are acting like all of this attention is not a big deal even though I saw how they react at minor compliments they took a while ago.

Then I heard talks about us boys this time.

"It's Hyeon!" squealed a girl.

"Why is he so dark?" asked her friend.

"Lady Juliet is covering him from the sun, duh... because he's a vampire."

They blushed when he looked at them with his scarlet eyes that contrast the shadow that covered all of him. Even Hyeon is so popular... I should've expected this.

"Who are those two?"

"That one has the presence of a human and the other is a demigod."

"How did they get here on Olympus?"

"I heard they are the ones that the King let into Olympus."

"I heard they are brutes that fight to the death." - I can't argue against that because we did fight to the death.

"They are mindless brutes?"

"Then why are they following behind the goddesses?"

"They're strong, so maybe they are tasked to contain these two brutes."

"What are you talking about? Being afraid of a human and a demigod? We are gods, we can handle them if they start any trouble."

"Yeah but I don't wanna be near them or they might give me divine diseases."

"Will the goddesses be fine when they catch the disease?"

"And why did the King let them in? They're useless because they don't even have powers."

"It's even worse that they let a human here. He could've served his purpose by praying for us."

"I don't believe that the King let them in. They must've bribed someone so that they can enter Olympus."

I see that they are disgusted at us. It is clear in the way they looked at us with their upper lips lifted. They also think that we are weaklings. I wanna prove them wrong and I can see that Darius feels the same way but Lady Mila told us to pay no mind to them. I'll get the chance to show them but all I have to do now is to behave.

"What are you lookin' at, you punk?!!" threatened Darius to a god that smirked at him.

"Get away from me, dude!" said the god and pushed him away by force.

I grabbed Darius before he gets into trouble as he was about to charge at that god.

"Darius," Lady Mila said his name as she stopped walking.

Then he said, "I'm sorry, my lady." and settled down so I let go of him.

We continued to walk and he frowned while putting his hands inside his pocket inside his jacket as we passed by. There is a wide staircase before the large white open double doors and we climbed it. There are chattering and whispers about us and I chose not to listen to them anymore because I will get nothing from them. Then we walked on his fine floor that reflected the lights from the ceiling. Lady Juliet didn't need to cast a shadow upon Hyeon and the other goddesses around us were starstruck at him. He's just cool about it as we walked.

The walls are also full of lights and moving paintings and sculptures. And it is like a ballroom here because this lobby is so huge and has lights everywhere. There are floating chandeliers like the ones I saw in the Palace of Olympus. Beyond, two split staircases lead to the same huge closed wooden double doors above them.

We turned to the right as we followed the goddesses to a passage that has tall windows to the right and I can see a field of flowers through them. The glass gates and the glass grills at the distance are shimmering. Then we entered this particular hall where there is a long baggage counter before a wall full of lockers with eagles carrying baggage from the lockers then to the deities that waited before the counter. Woah, this is some next level baggage counter.

Well, this is Olympus...

There are no other deities at the other side of that counter but a single god before the part of the counter where we approached. He has a yellow topless hat and a yellow suit and stood out against his surroundings as the shiny marbles have the color of dirty white.

He has slit eyes because of his smile before saying, "Oh, good morning, deities...," then looked at me and Darius. "and non-deities?"

"They are deities now, Elroy," said Lady Mila.

"Oh, by the decree of the King? Congratulations, lords!" he smiled. "So, you must be Leonide Padyne and Darius Ozan?"

"It's pronounced as 'Padeen', sir," I said.

"Oh! Sorry, Padeen," he nodded and six eagles came flying toward us. They carried bags with their claws and put them on the counter.

Lady Mila and Lady Juliet grabbed the black strap bags, Lady Aurelia grabbed the golden backpack that has a boyish style. Hyeon took a grey backpack that has many pockets and key chains of fangs. Then Darius and I were left with two identical bags. I just grabbed the one that's closer to me and he grabbed the other. I didn't know they provide our stuff for us. I wonder what's inside but I'll find out later.

"Goodbye, deities!" said Elroy but we didn't respond to him because our goddesses didn't respond.

We just walked into another passage with doors for every class on the left. Few deities were hanging out before the doors. Then at the right is the sun going through the huge glass windows. The four deities and that excludes me and Darius, know so many people. They all greeted them as we passed by and at the same time looking confused after seeing us.

Then I wondered if Darius and I will be in the different sections since there are so many sections here. I asked Lady Mila. "My lady, do Darius and I will be sorted out to a different section than yours?"

"No," she said and I was startled. "You are our assistant deities and therefore must remain by our side at all times so you are included in the section where we belong. We belong in the Zeus section and we are the 'Star Section' since many interesting people have been included here. And why didn't they make Hades the Star Section?" she muttered. "Anyways, it's not a large section but only made out of twenty deities and that includes us and most of them are from different demigod clans so they would likely be friendly with demigods unlike those who come from Olympus. But that excludes us four since we don't dislike demigods because Enzo is also a demigod."

Then we entered a classroom - more like a small amphitheater because we are at the center of where the series of ascending long, curving tables are facing.

At the top, I saw other deities sitting on the tables and gathered into a circle, while I saw this brown-skinned guy looking nervous sitting in the corner to the left and back end of the classroom. There is a golden podium in the center in front of a large plain whiteboard.

The other deities looked at us (to the goddesses and Hyeon) and they smiled in awe but then stopped as they saw us.

Lady Aurelia went to someone she knows. "Eleanna!" she called before zapping beside that goddess.

Eleanna is a brunette with braids on her hair. She looks like the center of attention before Lady Aurelia joined them. I can see that they already know each other and I think that I've seen Eleanna before. Oh, right... at the beach.

"Yo, great goddesses!" called the guy who we just met this morning along with his friends. Darius and I didn't like seeing them and knowing that we belong in the same section.

"I'm glad we belong in the same section," said Shui.

He held out his hand for a handshake that was meant for Lady Mila but she said, "Go break a glass or something." and went to sit in the front.

Shui just smiled after being ignored and frowned at us as we passed by. Then I heard a noise of a glass being broken as the ground shook. I turned around and adjusted my glasses to see what it was and saw Darius's foot that just destroyed a piece of glass under his sole. I figured that Shui tried to make Darius trip using his power of Glass.

"Oh, you wanna fight?" asked Darius as he grabbed Shui by the tie.

Shui has a sharp glass in his hand as he lunged it to cut Darius's stomach as he already has his fist to punch Shui.

His friends charged to aid him and I charged at them as my way to aid Darius. "Fist of Six!!!"
