My Brown

Sixteen year old Renee Lee hasn’t had many great memories. As far back as she can remember she’s always been the odd one out especially now in her junior year of high school.

Standing at only five feet and three inches you wouldn’t expect her to be the size that she is but it’s true; She’s 378 almost 400 pounds, extremely obese and she’s gone her whole life hiding who she is. Well not hiding, she can’t hide who she is if she herself doesn’t actually know.

Lying to her friends, lying to her family, and lying to herself have all became normal to her. She laughs because it’s the appropriate response and keeps everything inside because her problems aren’t as bad as other peoples’. And when her shoulder starts to hurt from all the people who lean on it, she has no one willing to message it.

Her life is at a constant downward spiral that doesn’t seem to ever stop; That is until a new girl transferred to her school, Ivy Sun.
