so weird that it bothered me

“That prick.” Giuliana hissed sharply and stared at Sebastian sharply — hoping looks could kill and he might be dead right now. “I've had enough and he just can't stop messing with me at all times, every f*****g time he has a chance.” And this bastard Sebastian, her right—hand man, always told her to shut her mouth tightly, don't do anything crazy to take revenge on the head of Lorelai's family or something bad might happen later — she shouldn't make her hands dirty just because of something like that. Sometimes, everything Theodore did managed to drain his energy — especially after he was so exhausted and being patient like that he couldn't always do. It was very bad for his mental health. Also, she is not a f*****g submissive. “Miss Giuliana, as I have always expected — Master Mason sent a message, he will make up for all the losses his nephew has made.” No, the news of this was not like a breath of fresh air to her relief. This feels like a burden on her and she can't bear with that anymore. “Also, your Maserati has been replaced with a new one. For your information, it's a limited edition, and for the vineyard, he will take you to Switzerland, Australia and France.” Sebastian grinned, he informed her that Mason had actually bought a lot of vineyards and wanted Giuliana to choose one of the three vineyards he owned — that was an exaggeration for someone who would even do so out of guilt over his nephew's demeanor. “I still have a lot of work to do, and I thought I couldn't leave it — you also know very well how busy I am, dealing with relations with other mafia organizations, the council's nightclubs, overseeing their finances and shipping goods or other tasks.” As a Consigliere, her job isn't that simple which frees her up to go wherever and whenever she wants — even if she goes abroad, she won't be able to take a vacation due to work. “If I had to choose, I would choose Switzerland — because I plan to stay there after I retire.” “Miss—” “Not now, Sebastian — but later, when I'm tired.” . “Everyone suspects you and I think you should stay at Darcio's for a while until this settles down. Besides that, you are also being targeted by the Rogue Mafia. It would be better if you stayed beside Leonardo for awhile.” The second member, Logan Darcio, asked her to meet and give her advice like that. Leonardo, who was standing beside her, nodded, agreeing with what his uncle said — Giuliana would be safer if she stayed with him. “Yes, it would be even better, Giuliana.” “Mhm, coupled with Theodore Lorelai constantly making you an easy target. Looks like he wants to kick you out of the elite of The Orphic and will do anything to kick you.” That made sense, he had a hard time accepting a woman he hated having a high position in The Orphic and also being his uncle's favorite in no time, or in other words, effortless — unlike him who does this a lot and that's just to be liked. “I did plan to stay in The West for a while. I promised Leonardo to stay there until the end of the month”, he informed her, then cleared her throat to pause. “Also, since I won't be here for a while, Paolo will handle everything as long as I'm not here — he's also quite good at his job council I can guarantee the councils won't be disappointed.” Oh, it seems Logan doesn't agree with that. “No one is better than you, which I'm so proud of.” He smiled, praising her so much until her inside melting. “It is as if that position were just for you and no one else.” “You're praising too much.” She said, trying not to get carried away with it. Because sometimes praise can kill. “And also, is it alright if I take revenge on Theodore Lorelai? I think he's gone too far this time, and being always good to him is not good for me — my hands are itching to teach him a lesson.” Leonardo glanced at her, Logan was also now looking at her with a small smirk. “Oh, our little princess wants revenge apparently — I think you behave so obediently because you don't want to retaliate.” But Giuliana is always so fierce, it is impossible for her to just let the unpleasant treatment be shown to her — especially if it destroys not only one, but many of her properties. “I thought twice before I did anything. Sebastian told me to do so.” “Sebastian?” “Yes.” “Don't listen to his words every f*****g time, Giuliana — sometimes, you must need to hear yourself too, okay?” Leonardo advised her. Too much listening to others to the exclusion of oneself is also not good. “Also, whatever you do will not tarnish Darcio's name, it's simply because Lorelai started it first.” Logan sighed, then let out an amused breath “You're such an adorable little girl, so obedient. But Giuliana, I let you do whatever you think is the right thing to do — occasional revenge is also necessary so that you are not looked down upon as our consigliere.” So yeah, she's been f*****g decided. “You what?!” Sebastian screamed hysterically, his eyes wide and staring at her like she was a ghost. “That was crazy.” “f**k yes! I know that was crazy.” He gave off an awkward look as he waved his hand in front of her, “No, no — you shouldn't do something like that! Theodore is a f*****g devil, he won't spare you if you dare.” “Oh, was I f*****g afraid? No.” she spat, then crossed her arms across her chest. “I will destroy everything that is so dear to him and that is final.” He had destroyed her very first Maserati. He had destroyed her comfort spaces. He had destroyed her very vast vineyard. And what did she expect other than the same crash? Oh, that would be a very sweet ruin. “But destroying his car would be disastrous, don't you remember that it was his favorite car that Lamborghini built especially for him?” that car was so f*****g limited, because they only made one car for Theodore Lorelai — such a special treatment for a sick prick like him. “I have a bad feeling that he will chop you up later.” Giuliana already thought that and she would always be prepared for the worst. After all, the car was made by a very prestigious car company. It was made especially for him — designed by Theodore himself, including the engine that was specially designed by him. So yes, the car is very special. . It's possible he'll be chopped up after blowing it up. “I don't care!” . She and Leonardo walked down the corridor, Sebastian not following her because he was busy packing important things to bring to Darcio's manor — they would be there for a few weeks and so they were required to bring important things. Neither of them made a sound, the only sound that could be heard was their shoe-wrapped footsteps — until Leonardo broke the silence between the two of them. “What did you do to make Theodore hate you this much, Giuliana?” Her shoulders lifted with her lips pursed playfully, “I don't even know, but I guess it's because of his uncle, who favored me — I managed to help The North, which was almost overrun by the Rogue Mafia, and I guess everything Mason Lorelai does is because he's grateful to me, nothing more.” It is certain that it is nothing more than a thank you. She can say this because, considering the history between Lorelai and Darcio, the two strong and almost equal families had a bad relationship even long before The Orphic was formed and stable as it is now. Lorelai really hates Darcio, and vice versa — Mason also doesn't like her even though she is Consigliere The Orphic, he hated her simply because she was Darcio's Princess. There was no one who didn't know about her being branded as Darcio Princess, even though her blood didn't have Darcio's blood flowing in it. “They're a bunch of bastards, don't believe anything they both say — Mason Lorelai is Theodore Lorelai's uncle, you have to be careful.” “Giuliana.” Speaking of the devil, it's him. He turned around and found Mason's eyes looking at Leonardo with a piercing glare. He seemed to be trying his best to appear neutral — that's great, he really was being professional as one of the four councillors. “Yes?” “Come with me.” he smiled politely, now with both eyes looking deep into her, “I need to talk to you now.” Her eyes widen, then she looks up at Leonardo and he nods, giving her permission to leave with Mason. “I'll be waiting at your residence, Lana.” So it was just the two of them now and he felt he would be able to say whatever he wanted. “What did you want to talk to me about, Mason?” Mason, who heard his name slip out of her mouth, now smiled warmly. Maybe he was happy because she obeyed him to call his name and not his last name. “Come with me to Switzerland, Giuliana.”
