Anna moved back and relaxed into her seat, when she glanced at Kane’s expression, it was rather calm…not what she expected or aimed for.
“You just called me Alpha,” Kane whispered in a smug tone, Anna’s brow raised and she gave him an incredulous stare.
What the hell does he mean by that?
“What does that have to do with anything?”
He shrugged, his green eyes looked mysterious and made her want to take a closer look…she hated it! Anna gritted her teeth. She looked away from him and started down at the table.
