Somehow, the moon managed to shine just a bit brighter than the lamps meant to illuminate their path. Anna leaned on her elbows and relaxed her tense shoulders. She could still feel cold sweat dripping down her clothes but she isn’t let it faze her. She was here with Kane, sitting next to him in complete and comfortable silence.
