That can’t happen! “Have you ever felt a connection to your wolf before?” He asked, “Maybe from a burst of emotion or an unexpected event?” The first thought that popped in her mind was the night when Kane had taken down Yaakov, that was when the buzzing in her head started, the pain from her mark and the ache in her gums…the second thought was the kitchen, when she had— “On the night of your birthday when Yaakov had shown up,” Ana explained, observing his expression and hoping he wouldn’t notice that she was holding back some information.
