12. Detention

I run to Brandon to finally get my stress off and get this joke of a wizard under my skin, I catch him and throw him as he did to Cierra. Seing he stopped the impact a lot faster than I was expecting I square up as if I’m fighting my brothers. “Seems like you have the attacks for a purpose that you need to tell me on! Why learn about the species when many of them have become hybrids? “ I wasn’t paying attention as Eda hits the side he dodged having her missing my head by a hair string.

Eda growls a bit annoyed but smiles at my actions when I heard her say. “Because that’s what we will learn on the journey and good assumptions!” I looked at her like she was crazy. Yes, I knew we had a lot to do, and our lives might have been in danger, we are really going to be in danger?

Taking her hand and throwing her to the ground, I make sure she stays down by holding her with Jose’s strength to which she chuckles. “But why are you attacking us? Aren’t you suppose to be on our side!” Eda gave me a school teacher looking to say “If we are low in werewolves and learn of Lycans, our desires to become the most powerful outgrows knowing we can become hybrids. She then kicks my abdomen, and I stumble back losing my breath.

Having trouble breathing I do what Carlos does, raising my arms to stretch and allow the air to go thru. After a moment I felt back to normal, so I say. “There are people after our kind. Why?” I have had enough of their secrets, but clearly, they weren’t done with their ridiculous perse. Liam takes Carmen in another headlock, and Xiomara runs to help her only to be thrown away by Beatrice in a punch.

I run to Eda as she felt the change in my body, I start throwing punches at her, she is good at dodging my attacks, when we hear Liam. “ It’s easier to lie, fake, abduct others, force them and start a war rather than use other science and legal agreements.” He then cracks Carmen’s neck, and she goes unconscious. He moves her to the inside of the house, we do not allow him to do so. As Xiomara, and the rest of us who just got here defend one another.

Seeing they have Carmen, I wasn’t paying attention, and my punches become sloppy. I’m pushed to the edge, I fly away by, to what it felt to be a freaking bowling ball of a punch from Eda. Hitting the wall I fall down, I get on my elbows after my fall, I’m staying low cause the hit was good on my hip, I feel the pain become less as I hear Jose in my mind laughing, ‘Kid we are a team but try not to kill yourself I mean dude you haven’t gotten laid with our mate yet!’. Groaning I realize Eda is tackled by Xiomara after she hid Carmen inside the house where Helena was on neutral terms to our mini-war.

I look around to see Cierra jog to me to check on me. Seeing as she is closer to me, Brandon gets up to attack John that was following Cierra, but I notice only those with magic are attacking, so our focus is wrong. I mind linking, in my team, not allowing the enemy in my selected link. ‘Anyone knows how to beat a wizard and hybrids with magic!?!’ If I could kiss my mate at these moments I would as I hear her in our link.

Michelle dodges Brandon like a champion as she says. ‘Depends on their specialty, black magic itself is more of a mental and energy draining to inflict on you. If you feel negative in any way, you're essentially moving your position in harming yourself, your viewpoint changes and the magic can hurt you worse. The energy can be slightly shifted if you use your animal counterpart you can dodge it perfectly, our animal part can sense it faster, its a team work with your.” She is stopped by a spell she dodged and showed what she meant to us by her action as she hit the ground, tugged, and rolled to lunch at him who disappeared.

John laughs at how she owned us, Cierra rolled her eyes, and Xiomara with Hector ran to help her. ‘So I have to stay positive against their attacks?! And calm?! That’s insane! But that was so f*****g cool, Mate! 'My comment made Cierra groan as she had no mate here. I smile while wincing from the pain.

Beatrice was staring at this and was walking at a pace toward Michelle. I feared for a moment, as I still couldn't get up, just a little bit more. “Excellent introduction to your attack strategy! If it’s plain black magic like Brandon is using, then yes, that is your best bet. But not my magical little one! Mario, your technique in choosing the link is brilliant, but Hector should have been repeating the words in his mind! ” Beatrice creates a fireball and aims at my mate who has run to be next to me. I took her leg and pulled her down to land next to me. Once the fireball is thrown, I pull on her, she falls on her back, but it’s better than getting burned;

Looking at my mate, I shouted in pain. "Michelle, that’s not black magic! "What now?” Beatrice runs towards us as Michelle gets up to attack me while defending me. “Now you call me down by using the opposite element." Hector looked around as Michelle started to get her claws out when he shouted, “But there’s no water!” Xiomara, who is next to Hector, groans and hits his head to shout, “Pendejo (stupid)! Air!” Hector starts to rub his head as he repeats her word, “Air???” Hector will be the death of me.

Michelle takes this moment to practice making a small air ball thrown at Alvina by accident, as Beatrice moves to the side and rolls away, allowing the air ball to hit Alvina instead of hitting her. focusing on getting ahead, she goes with Hector, running to knock him down. He jumps high and then lands on the hard ground, missing Beatrice by a hair as we are literally on a battlefield.

The back of this packed house is connected to the other city apartment complexes, and in the far distance, the ocean. ‘Get to the city! We need to divide them, clearly, we need to be moving fast.’ Everyone answered with a solid ‘Got it!’ Michelle came to me to get me out of this.

Just by having her near me made things heal faster, I was more than proud to be having her around. She knows more than she is leading out. A teenager shouldn’t have known how to do that, knowing what magic is capable of at least for a werewolf. I want to know her because there is something horrible that is eating me alive. My gut feeling and my fear of commitment is starting to affect me.

‘ even if all of that is completely another rewrite I do not believe that it is entirely true for you to be considering that she wouldn’t want to be open with you I know her wolf since the beginning of all of this and if there’s anything I have come to learn to know is that she is the same as she was years before her‘ Jose comes to my mind and I sigh.

“Rocky go in the city take Cierra, John and Hector” she not see exactly as I kept saying the words only to give me a quick peck on the lips and reply with “ I will use actor as my guinea pig hopefully he will not be of any type of issue.”

The. The fearful thoughts come back to me. What if we move there? The ocean can be used, but we can’t make the apartments get damaged, and we can’t shift, or can we?

I saw them run as fast their legs could take them and it made me feel worried. But I had no time as I saw Liam throw eounces at , I started to run as my feet could take me. "Jose we need to run!!!!" He has no more words as he shifts as my wolf and all I could hear were gasps from Liam, hopefully he meant well.
