After Mason said that, he turned and looked at Vann. "How did you know that it was an aphasic stroke? I have only ever seen it a few times in my life!" His words were like a bomb that suddenly exploded in the Drug Fragrance Pavilion. He was the well-known Immortal Doctor of the Tradicine Province! Such words were enough to prove that the young man in front of them was not an ordinary young man. Hearing what Mason said, Vann breathed a sigh of relief, and his expression softened. Regardless, at least Mason, who was regarded as the Immortal Doctor, was willing to admit that they had misdiagnosed Pill in front of so many people. Hence, Vann was not as furious as he was just now. "I have read about it in books..." Vann replied. "Good, very good, young man." Mason said with a laugh. "Master, he smashed our signboard!" Leslie saw that his Master was not pursuing the matter, but praising the boy instead. Therefore, Leslie hurriedly reminded him of the incident. "It's good that it's been smashed!" Mason replied. Mason then stopped smiling and glanced over at Leslie. He questioned him. "You have no medical skills and no medical ethics. This is all your fault. How did I teach you? Is this how you treat your patients? Look at the patient's complexion, can't you see any clues? Can't you immediately tell how to treat him when faced with such a situation? You are supposed to be a doctor and save lives. Is this how you save people? If this is so, it is good that the sign is broken." Upon hearing Mason's words, the crowd burst into applause. As a doctor, if you didn't have any medical ethics, who would be willing to get treated by you? In order to practice medicine and treat the diseases in the world, one must have the mind of a parent and never do things half-heartedly. Besides, one must always double-check the patients' conditions during the consultation. Vann carefully observed Mason's expression and found nothing hypocritical. Therefore, he had a good impression of this white-haired old man. "You are different from him. You are still a doctor." Vann exclaimed. Upon hearing this, Mason was rendered speechless. "What nonsense are you saying? Besides, do I even need your affirmation?" However, Leslie's face was pale. According to Vann's words, he was not a doctor at all. "Young man, do you have any good advice on how to cure this aphasic stroke?" Mason looked at Vann and smiled slightly. As soon as he uttered these words, it shocked all the people around them and their jaws dropped open. Even Aurora, who was standing next to him, was stunned. Who was Mason? The Immortal Doctor! He was recognized as the Immortal Doctor by everyone in the Tradicine Province! And yet, he was willing to talk to a teenager who looked like he was less than twenty years old? Besides that, he was even asking him for advice? Nevertheless, the Immortal Doctor was clearly regarding the young man in front of him to be on the same level of expertise as he was. What kind of reality was this? It should be noted that there was only one immortal doctor in the whole Tradicine Province. What's going on? Has the world gone mad? Vann didn't realize the significance of this moment. He pondered for a while and said, "Didn't you just say that there was a cure? Obviously, you have a good plan. Therefore, why bother to ask me?" Mason secretly praised the young man's intelligence. He wanted to know his answer. Hence, he continued to ask, "Even though I do have a plan, I want to know what your plan is. Let's see what level your medical skills have reached." "Is there a need to compare?" Vann questioned back. Vann continued, "Medical skills are used to cure diseases, not to be used for comparison." Leslie, who was standing next to him, couldn't stand it anymore. He said in a strange tone, "If you don't know, just say it clearly. No one would blame you. You must be thinking of some grand excuses to cover it up, do you take us for fools?" Vann didn't even spare him a glance. Any regard for him was completely unnecessary. Such a clown could be found anywhere, and if he were to be angry all the time, Vann would have exploded long ago. "I'm here to buy some silver needles. I don't have time to argue with you." Vann said. As he finished speaking, Vann turned around and started to leave. But as soon as he reached the door, he was stopped. "Young boy, if you tell me the correct way to cure an aphasic stroke, I will give you a set of top-grade silver needles. Deal?" Upon hearing Mason's words, Vann froze just as he was about to take another step. Vann hesitated for a moment. Then, he turned around and said, "I would have to have a look at the silver needles first, or there's no deal." "No problem!" Mason answered, and then looked over at Leslie, "Get me my silver needles." "Master, you can't just give them away!" When Leslie heard what Mason said, he answered anxiously in a hurry. Those silver needles were Master's treasure. Usually, he would be reluctant to even let them have a look. But now, he was offering them up in a bet? How could he not be anxious? "Hurry up!" Mason firmly said. Leslie glanced at Vann fiercely, then turned and left reluctantly. After a while, Leslie returned with a wooden box ten times more delicate than the one before. "Show it to him!" Mason instructed. Leslie looked at his Master, but Mason glared at him. He hurriedly ran over to Vann and handed him the box. When Vann took the wooden box, he felt a rush of heat all over his body. It was as if the box itself had a temperature. He was taken aback just looking at the wooden box made of thousand-year-old agarwood. He knew that it was expensive. After opening it, Vann randomly selected one needle and pinched it between his two fingers. Soon, the silver needle seemed to have a spirit. It was as if it had come alive. It was trembling and making a light happy sound. Then, Vann released the silver needle from his fingers, but strangely, it remained suspended between his two fingers. As if it was alive, it kept moving between his fingers. "You… Is this the legendary Shadowiad Needles technique?" Doctor Hsueh's eyes widened. He ran over to Vann in a hurry. He stared at the silver needle suspended between Vann's fingers and his face was filled with disbelief. Vann placed the silver needle back into the box and looked at Doctor Hsueh in surprise. "Are these made from the mysterious silver found in the magma of the earth's core? Are these the Mysterious Firiad Needles?" Doctor Hsueh was shocked again. He looked at Vann with appreciation and said, "Young man, I didn't expect that you would be so knowledgeable. You even know about the Mysterious Firiad Needles. This is awesome!" It was obvious that when he saw Vann doing this trick, he was even more surprised than when he first heard Vann mention about the spirituality of needles. He then asked, "Young man, were you using the Shadowiad Needles technique just now?" Vann nodded and replied, "Yes, I was. I didn't expect you to know this method. It seems that you do have some medical skills." Could it be said that the Immortal Doctor indeed had some medical skills? Whether or not there was something behind this, this was still absolutely unprecedented. Vann smiled and said, "Senior Hsueh, what you said just now still stands?" Since he was willing to take out such a precious thing as the Mysterious Firiad Needles, Vann's attitude towards him became more respectful. In this world, there were two types of needles which were the rarest. One was the Mysterious Firiad Needles, made from the magma of the Earth's core. The second was the Froziad Silver Needles, made from ice crystals and snow. The temperature of the magma at the Earth's core is very high, while the temperature of the ice and snow is very low. It was nearly impossible to get these two types of silver needles. If he could obtain the Mysterious Firiad Needles, Vann had full confidence that he could cure Old Master An's illness. "Young man, no matter whether you can correctly prescribe the medicine for aphasic stroke, I will give you this box of silver needles!" Mason said. "Master, you can't do that!" Leslie and the other disciples tried to dissuade him. The needles were Master's most precious possessions. How could he give them away just like that? Didn't he just spin the silver needle around with his fingers? Hand me the silver needles and I will make them spin in circles for you to see! When they were in school, who didn't spin their pens around in circles with their fingers? "You're a bunch of idiots! What the h*ll do you know?" Mason was so angry that his lungs were about to explode. Since Vann had been able to present the Shadowiad Needles method, he was a genius doctor that Mason looked up to. Mason was using a box of silver needles to gain the favor of the other party, was there a problem with that? What made him angry was that these stupid disciples did not understand his good intentions at all!
