Chapter 20 - Healing
Maria’s POV:
Once I got to the schools clinic, the nurse checked me up, cleaned my wounds and bandage them and also attached an IV to my hand because I was apparently too weak. After that, she left the room. Mr. Black was sitting in the corner and just looking at what she was doing. Once she left, then only he got up and came to me.
“Why do I need an IV?” I groaned. I didn’t like a thick needle inside my hand for a few hours. I wanted to sleep and do other things. It was 1 AM and it was raining outside.
“Because you’re dying,” He rolled his eyes and replied.
“Whatever, I’m perfectly fine. I have high tolerance for pain,” I lied but I wanted to show off. It was sort of true because when I was angry and mad, I didn’t feel anything at all, those emotions numbed m
