I stood outside the door of her room, preparing myself for what I was about to do. I was about to break a well known law for the sake of this human girl. But was it for the right reason?
I repeatedly asked myself this question and each time I came up with the answer yes. Even when I forced myself to say no, I found my thoughts reasoning with one another in a way leading right back to the first answer again.
I started to knock on the door of her room when I decided against it and just opened the door. There she was sitting in an odd position, her eyes closed until she heard me coming into the room. She quickly stood from where she sat and looked at me, waiting for me to say something.
