Chapter 5 - please let me go

Bella's POV

I stirred trying to wake up. I felt really warm. I felt as if I was being held against a wall. As I tried to wake up, the memories of what happened before came flooding into my head. I pried open my eyes. "Ahhhhh." I let out a scream. Soon there was the man from yesterday who pulled me tight to his chest as he started to inspect around. I continue to try and get off from his iron grip. "Ahhhhh" I screamed as loud as possible.

He realized he was the reason while I was screaming and hesitantly let go of me as I scrambled as far as possible from me which made me hit the headboard. Tears start to stream from my eyes as I looked at the man in front of me, who only had his sweatpants. I wondered if he was even human as I saw him changing from a wolf to a human in seconds. The thought made cry even harder.

I continued to cry. " Hey, it's OK. You don't have to be afraid of me. please don't cry" he pleaded. Even though it was confusing as to why he was pleading, I continued to cry even louder. He ran his right hand through his hair as he let out a deep sigh followed by a small growl which made my cry louder and harder. Seeing he turned to face me. "please don't cry, I am sorry for scaring you. I know you are confused and I will explain once you have calmed down. just don't cry" he almost begged. I just continue to cry.

" Please let me go. I will not tell anyone about what I saw. please don't hurt me." I begged him. I continued to cry as I hugged my knees closer together. "No I won't hurt you. I promise. I can never and would never hurt you." he told me. I shake my head profusely at him. " please let me go." I begged him again. "NO! YOU ARE MINE!" he yelled as his voice boomed the entire room.

I cowered away from him and started to cry silently as I got scared that if I made a sound he might get angrier at me and hurt me. When he saw that I cowered away from him, he narrowed his eyes and said "s**t" under his breath he stood up from the bed and I flinched thinking he was going to hurt me and closed my eyes. I heard him take a deep sigh. As I opened my eyes I saw him walking away. As he opened the door, he stood there awhile and closed the door and I heard him locking the door. I stood up and ran to open the door even though I knew it was impossible. I slide against the floor crying my eyes out.

An hour passed as I was sitting down and crying. My legs were numb so I stood up and walked towards the windows hoping it would show a way out. But to my luck it was locked. I just sat at the attached sit and I stared out the window. I prayed hard for someone to save me.

Xavier's POV

As I carried my mate in my arms to my room, I felt the tingling sparks with the skin contact we had. A smile was plastered in face the entire way knowing my mate, the love of my life, the person I was waiting for my entire life, was in my arms. It may sound cliche but I felt giddy at the thought. As I placed her in our bed, I pulled the duvet to cover her entire body except her face. Everything that is mine is also hers.

She looked so cute with her lips slightly apart. As I stared at her lips I so wanted to kiss. I want to r****h it, At the thought of that a low rumble was heard from my throat. it took all the control I had to restrain myself. And let me tell, it was not easy. A yawn escaped my mouth and I knew I was exhausted and it was very late in the night. I decided to cuddle with my mate after finally finding my mate. I stripped and got into my sweat pants and did not bother about a shirt as the feeling of my mate against my bare chest made both me and my wolf, Damien, get excited.

I got under the duvet and pulled my mate against my chest and put my face at the crook of her neck and sniffled her as I slowly drifted off the best and peaceful sleep that I had ever had till today.

" Ahhhhh" I heard a scream and jolted awake and pulled my mate into my chest and looked around for any danger but I saw none. I felt my mate struggling to get out of my grip. "Ahhhh" she screamed and I realized that I was the reason she was screaming. Unwillingly I let her go.

As I let her go she squirmed away from me and hit the headboard as I felt a pang of hurt in my heart. Tears started to spill out as she looked at me. something that she thought must have made her cry more as she started to cry more.

As she continued to cry, "Hey it's OK. You don't have to be afraid of me. please don't cry" I desperately pleaded not able to see her cry. It physically hurt me. It only made her cry louder. Not knowing what to do, I ran my hand through my hair and sighed letting a low growl escape my lips. I did not realize what I had done as she started to cry profusely. "please don't cry, I am sorry for scaring you. I know you are confused and I will explain once you have calmed down. just don't cry" I begged as I tried to calm her.

" Please let me go. I will not tell anyone about what is seen. please don't hurt me." she cried out as she hugged her knees closer to herself. "No I won't hurt you. I promise. I can never and would never hurt you." I started as if I was promising. But she just shook her head continuously." please let me go.". That is when I lost it. " NO! YOU ARE MINE!" I yelled as my voice boomed through the room.

She cowered away from me and her cries went silent even though she was crying very hard. I narrowed my eyes at her. "s**t" I mumbled as I thought what I had done. As I stood up, she flinched and closed her eyes thinking. That sight just broke my heart. I let out a sigh and decided to leave. As I opened the door, I stood there not wanting to leave. Eventually I just left.
