FRIENDS
"Hey man." PJ greeted him and they began to shake hands as a greeting.
My world literally stopped when Benedict was shaking hands with PJ. s**t they know each other. s**t he's friends with Benedict. s**t he might think that I'm stalking him. s**t?
But Benedict kept his eyes on me after shaking hands with PJ and asking him what took him so long. He sat down on the couch just on the spot right across me. He blinks, and I swear to God he was blinking really slow, while he kept glaring at Khaleel and PJ who I assume are his friends
"Why do you know each other?" PJ asked while he points at me then at Benedict.
Khaleel smirks in the corner. "We always know that Ben always gets the beautiful women first."
Benedict chuckles. "It's not like that lads." He turned his face back at me. "Is this for the article again miss Thibault?"
I slightly gaped and shake my head quickly.
"Wait. Article? What's that suppose to mean?" PJ looked puzzled when he asked.
"Is she some kind of a reporter? A pap?" Khaleel asks too while glaring at me.
"She's nothing like those bozos. She's just an intern at Lure. She had to interview me for her article." Benedict answered as he moved his head towards ne.
"I wasn't really here for the article. I didn't even know that they were your friends or that they knew you. This was all an accident." I started to answer shyly. s**t, I sounded so defensive.
"I actually met her at the entrance." PJ saves me.
Benedict stares ar PJ then travels his eyes back at me. "Diablo was being hard on her because she wasn't on the list." PJ adds.
I moved my eyes away from Benedict who was making me feel like he was undressing me with the way he's looking right at me.
"I didn't know you two kind of had met." PJ smirks.
"It was just for work." I answer right away.
Benedict nods. "Exactly. And you are here, on our table mainly because?"
"He brought me along with him." I pointed to PJ and continued to say, "He asked me if I could meet his friends as an exchange for him saving me by the entrance. So I did."
I kept looking around but I still couldn't find Kylie or Jonah so I travelled my head back to these lovely men before me. And I swear Khaleel was looking at me lustfully even though he has sexier women next to him.
"You want anything to drink?" Benedict asks.
I shake my head. "No. Thank you. I think I've spotted my friends' table already." I lied to get away from their table because I think other women from across other tables are already thinking that I'm flirting.
"You don't have to hurry leave. But are you sure you don't want anything Miss Thibault? Let me buy you a drink." Benedict insisted.
"No. It's fine. Really. You don't have to. I think I'm leaving. It was nice to meet you three though. And thank you again PJ." I spoke fast.
PJ salutes at me. "Not a problem babe."
I smiled tightlipped and glared at Benedict who had rested his back on the couch as he looks at me while he was running his forefinger over his lower lip. Ugh, can he stop being so f*****g sexy? Does he even know that it's kind of distracting?
"I guess I'll see you guys around." I waved goodbye and started turning my back to them as I began to leave their table.
My eyes kept looking around the entire club but I still couldn't find Kylie or Jonah. She said that they were going to be here. And I'd be too damn embarrass that I still haven't spotted my friends when I've already told those three hot godlike looking men that I've found my table. I kept walking around the club, trying to find them and my heels are killing me right now too. Damn it. Where in f**k are they? I thought they were here?
Ugh I need a drink.
I walk to the bartender who was busy serving drinks as I sat down pulling my phone out.
1%
"f**k! You have got to be kidding me!" I cursed.
I quickly opened the message that I received twenty minutes ago coming from Jonah.
Jonah: didn't get through The White Hall. That f*****g bouncer didn't let us pass because of that f*****g list. Meet us at Whitman? Super sorry.
My jaws literally dropped.
"Oh my f*****g god! Are you f*****g serious right now?!" I closed my fist angrily.
I was about to call Jonah but my phone had to die on me. "s**t!"
"No! Oh come on! Seriously. Why in hell is this happening tonight?!" I groan and rested my forehead over my flexed arm.
"Shit." I cursed again.
"You know, for a woman like you, you curse a lot than a few I know." I pulled my head up when I heard a male's voice in a thick british accent.
I see a man wearing black shirt and some black tight jeans paired with combat boots who was sitting next to me and I'd be a goddamn liar if I would say that I didn't find him hot because he is ridiculously captivating. His hair was brown and gets kind of blond when it gets hit against the light. It wasn't too long and too short either, but most of his hair was placed on the left side. I watch him carefully and noticed that his lips were full, really full, to the extent that it was so darn sexy and his eyes were deep-seated. And oh my god his skin was glowing. He was super white, almost vampire like.
"A glass of whiskey please." He tells the bartender.
I watch him carefully but he wasn't looking at me. He was looking straight ahead and his British accent is still playing in my ear. It even made him ten thousand times sexier than a while ago.
"Could you stop looking at me like that?" He asked me and he finally looked back at me. I totally lost it. He. Is. Damn. Gorgeous.
His eyes are so strong even when he's not speaking, it's like his eyes are talking. And I sure do want to taste that thick lips of his.
"It's kind of creeping me out." He added.
I clear my throat and watched the bartender handing him his glass of whisky.
"Thank you." He politely said.
"Anything for the lovely lady in all white?" The bartender asked me.
I scratch my hair. "Do you have... Martini?"
"We sure do. One glass?"
I nod.
From the corner of my eye, I noticed that this british man was still looking at me. "Could you stop looking at me like that?" I mocked him.
"It's creeping me out." I added and he grinned at it while he looked away from my gaze.
"Here's your martini." The bartender handed.
I smiled. "Thanks."
The handsome british man stared eagerly at the bartender as he begins to entertain other customers. "A woman who's all alone who curses a lot in public and drinks martini. Not that typical." He begins to speak again.
I chuckle. "And none of your business too."
He glared at me. "It's just funny to find one."
"Well I didn't really wanted to be here tonight. It's just that my friend forced me to go and technically they're not here because they couldn't get in because of that stupid list. They're on another club five blocks from here. And I'm running short on cash. Plus I couldn't contact them because I'm out of battery." I ranted.
I take a long drink from my glass and groans as soon as the alcohol simmers down my throat.
"Really not a typical night for a woman who curses a lot in public and drinks a martini." I added which made him grin again.
We grew quiet for a while and we just sat there next to each other busy finishing our drinks. He didn't talk anymore and so I decided to keep quiet too since I didn't wanted him to find me annoying. Plus I didn't wanna scare him off. When I noticed that my glass was already empty, I quickly moved my head to him only to find that he had his chair spin facing towards my direction.
"You wanna go somewhere?" He asked.
Was I drink after one glass of martini or was he the one who was drunk? Because he's asking me to go with him somewhere. s**t, is he asking me to have s*x with him somewhere else?
"I don't even know you." I answer.
"We can get to know each other better along the way." He answered back.
I remained quiet.
"This is not my kind of crowd and I'm guessing it isn't your kind of crowd too." He added.
You're wrong about that. You don't even know me, pretty boy. I answered him mentally.
I chuckle softly and crossed my arms together. "I don't even know your name and you don't even know mine."
He extended his hand to me. "If it makes you happy. Hi. I'm Sebastian."
I stare at his huge hand with long fingers hanging midair. "Why do you even wanna go with me? There are tons of other women here looking at you and who would want to be with you."
He still kept his hand midair even if I didn't accept it. "You're different and didn't seem like one of those women around here. And I like a little challenge."
"How did you know I'm a challenge?"
"Well aside from you cursing loud in public making you look like a complete i***t a while ago because people passing were looking at you and not accepting my handshake and letting my hand midair, I just knew you're not like any other easy woman." He answered.
You don't know me. I thought.
I grin but I bite my cheek to stop myself from even smiling wider. I glare at his hand and he's still waiting for me to accept that. I stood from my chair and he stands quickly too still extending his hand to me.
I chuckle. "You're quite persuasive."
"I am." He answers.
I finally accept it and felt his huge hand wrapping around my tiny hand. I pause for a while and said to him, "I'm Anna."
"Not your real name." He snaps.
I pulled my head up to him. "How did you know?"
He grins. "You took a pause before saying it so I'm guessing you thought about a fake name. And you weren't looking into my eyes."
I chuckle and realized that he's quite a great observer. I still felt our hands holding onto each other. I smile at him and he's just so irresistibly handsome that I wanna punch him so hard on his face to make him look a bit ugly.
I decided to keep my eyes to his and said, "I'm Thea. Nice to meet you Sebastian."
He smirks at me and I swear it's so beautiful. That dent on his cheek is beautiful.
He releases my hand and I pulled back mine to my side. "I hope you're still up to go with me Thea." He says.
"You're not a bad guy right?" I asked curiously.
"I'd be a good guy if you want me to." He answers with that evil smirk and stupid dimple that's killing me right now.
I gaped.
"Don't worry. I'll behave." He adds.
Sebastian takes my hand to his before he grabbed his black leather jacket from his chair and pulled me away with him.
"Wait. I still didn't pay my drink." I say, looking back at the bartender who grabbed our glasses.
"Don't worry about that." He says.
When we reached the parking lot, we walked to a beautiful big motorbike. It was sleek black and when he got on it so cooly, he instantly turned me on a hundred thousand times. There is always something about bad boys that's just so sexy.
Wait. That means he's a bad boy. He's all in black clothes, he has a big bike and he has that signatured black leather jacket that any other bad boys would have. He literally wasn't joking when he said he'll be good if I'd want him to.
"You can wear my jacket." He says while handing it to me.
I don't even know why I accepted it but I just did and wore it around me. s**t, his black jacket smells so f*****g good. He held my hand and helped me when I got on the bike behind him.
"Put this on too." He handed me a helmet.
I accepted it and placed it over my head. "If I die tonight, just know that I will hunt you for the rest of your life." I pointed my finger at him.
"Easy love. I'd die before you if I have to save your life." He answered seriously.
I paused and a part of me kind of loved what he said. I don't even know why. I smiled sheepishly.
"Now hold on tight, I drive fast." He adds.
He kicks the pedal and revved the engine. When he started to move the motorbike, I squealed and instantly wrapped my arms around his body with my cheeks pressed against his back.
He chuckles. "Wow. You hold onto me too tight. You're lucky you're cute."
I noticed that he stopped the motorbike from moving and we're still at the parking lot. This little smug loves to be cheeky.
"Well if you didn't do that then I wouldn't have held on to you too tight." I snapped.
"You've never been on a motorbike before?"
I shake my head. "This is my first."
"Hold on love, I'll give you the best ride of your life." He says to me.
I began to wrap my arms around him so tight again and he started to drive turbo which made me scream as we leave the parking lot. I hug to him tightly with my eyes close.
"Are you closing your eyes?" He asked.
"Yes." I answered in terror.
"Open them. You're going to miss so much." He says to me.
I slowly open my eyes and noticed that we were speeding around the streets of London. He was driving too fast that made everything move like a blink of an eye but it was thrilling and exciting. I loved how the air would hit my face as it blows my hair back. I loved the feeling where it felt so free to be riding around and just didn't care about anything at all. The feeling was addictive.
"You're opening them?" He asks.
"Yes! This feels amazing."
I hear him chuckle.
