‘None of this makes sense… Why would James be right here and now… Judging by his business card he’s working for his father. Then what the Hell does he want with me? Isn’t that the entire reason as to why we broke up?’ Ashton didn’t understand why the man did what he did. So many questions began swirling in his head. He went back inside only to be surrounded by more people he didn’t know.
“Mr. Barrik, would you like to share a drink with me?” One of the women said as she held onto two cocktail glasses in each hand.
“No, thank you miss.” Ashton answered as he tried to turn his wheelchair around but accidentally bumped into another person in the crowd. The person he bumped into pushed the woman and she spilled the drinks all over Ashton.
“I am so sorry!”
