Elizabeth headed back to her childhood friend’s apartment to try and knock some sense into his head. ‘I can’t believe he’d fight with him like this… Ethan seemed so down about it too. I wonder what happened.’
Parking her car out the front, she went up to the apartment and entered the man’s office without warning.
“Would it hurt you to knock?” Ashton angrily questioned.
“Ash, I just drove Ethan back to his apartment. Tell me what happened, he looked like he was about to cry.” Elizabeth explained as she stared at the man.
“That’s none of your business. Now leave, I’m working.” Ashton said without taking his eyes off of the screen.
“But it is my business! Who’s going to look after you while Ethan’s on leave?” Elizabeth asked while placing her hands on her hips.
