Once your front matter and back matter are in place, you can focus on formatting your story or the content of your e-book (be it a novel, poetry, short stories, recipes, whatever). At the beginning of the content, I put the title and the author’s name, centered in the middle of the page and double spaced. Do not double-space the actual content. Many e-book formats override line spacing, so it won’t really show up except in PDF formats.
