Chapter Seven

2011 Words
Olivia worried about Draco for the entire night, and she has not heard and seen since he went to the communication room with Ase. She knows Draco, and she knew after talking with his father he would have come running to her room and telling her about their first meet. But lost night he did not bother which worried her, were things said that might have angered Draco to stay away. Does he know about his mother’s death? She asked herself. She kept asking herself different questions about Draco's sudden disappearance the whole night. She has not slept a wink. Finally, when it was morning, Olivia jumped out of bed, had a quick bath and slipped on something simple before hurrying down to the dining room. Once there she shocked not to find Draco, knowing he loved his food, mostly meat. Instead, she found both Emma and Ase there like they were waiting for her. Feeling awkward, she nervously greeted them. “Olivia, please have a sit.” Ase said in his serious tone, hesitantly took a seat, worried something must have happened to Draco. “Prince Draco knows about that night in the forest.” Her heart stopped beating for a seconded and she remembered to breathe, “what night are you talking about?” She asked. Ase sighed, “he knows that he murdered your best friend and classmate that night on earth when he was angry. His father hinted about that night and he did not take things well. The whole night he was in the training pit, he almost burns down that part of the ship, so we had to put him to sleep. Right now, his resting and we were hoping when he wakes, can you be there for him?” She nodded her ‘yes’, “you don’t have to ask, I’m willing to there for him. My friend. Just tell me, is he okay?”  They both nodded, “his okay, we just need to monitor him. I must go check on him. Please have your breakfast.” Ase said with a slight nod given to Olivia before heading out the room. There was silence in the room, Emma placed Olivia’s plate on the table and stepped back. Olivia glanced down at her breakfast and sighed before leaning back, “I’m not hungry, Emma. I just...” She sighed again, glancing up at Emma. “What happened last night? What led Draco’s father to tell him about that night?” She asked, furrowing her brows in confusion. “Last night, King Agni is a cruel man, and he hates any sign of weakness is why in the kingdom ever child train and when they reach teenagers, then tested more if they are suitable to be in the army. That night, Draco showed his father a bit of emotion which his father hated after he stated his disappointment and when he arrives to his kingdom, things will change for Draco.” Olivia could not believe on what she was hearing, how this man be so cruel to even his own blood. Draco was excited, yes, what was wrong with feeling emotion especially to those they were meeting for the first time. Draco must have felt angry and hurt about that first meet with his father, but she wondered what his father going to do when Draco arrives. But she also wondered how Draco felt about knowing that he took other people’s lives, especially her only best friend. But there was one question Olivia kept wondering about, “does Draco know about his mother?” She asked. Emma nodded, “but you know that he does not know that you knew about his mother’s death. We promise not to tell him, it is up to you to tell him unless you want to keep it to yourself.” Guilt embraced her, as she did not want to put in such a situation. Draco would talk about it, but she would play the ‘I don’t know’ game or be honest about her knowledge and have him hate her. She did not know what to do. “Can I at least see him?”  Emma shook her head, “not at this moment. Maybe later...” Memories of last night played in Draco’s mind, repeatedly. He remembered hearing the disappointment, the shock and pain like it kept happening with no stop. He could not believe he killed Olivia’s friends, he could not believe that his mother has been dead, and his caretakers knew whilst he thought his father was keeping his mother from giving him a message.  His eyes flickered opened, staring up at the white ceiling, wondering if all his life he lived nothing but a lie. He wondered what his father had in plan for him when he gets to home. He worried what Olivia will say when if he brings up about that night, the night he murdered her friend. Was she going to tell him how much she hated him, and she only pretended to like because she was afraid of him and the caretakers ordered her to pretend? “You are awake, how are you feeling?” Ase’s voice slipped in his train of thought. Draco tilted his head, realising his body was numb, not surprised. They would put him to sleep to stop what happened on earth, to never happen. So, he never murders more beings until he reaches his home planet. “Prince Draco, are you okay? Do you want something to drink?” Ase asked. Draco looked back up to the ceiling, “can I talk to Olivia...” He said, his tone was dull. “Of course, sir...” Ase quietly walked out the room, leaving Draco to his thoughts that kept on circling. What felt like a lifetime of waiting, Ase finally returned with Olivia? “Miss Olivia, sir. I will be outside if you need anything.” When he left, Olivia rushed to Draco’s side and took his hand in hers. He tilted his head, seeing her made him feel better, and he forgot about what happened. Her forest eyes held worry and care; her strawberry blonde was down which he liked to see her. She lifted his hand that she held and planted a kiss on it, “how are you, kid?” She asked. His lips slightly tilted remembering her always calling a ‘kid’, “I’m glad you are here, I just don’t know what to feel or think.” He said. Olivia felt so unease, “do you want to snuggle?” She asked another question. He chuckled, “you know I love snuggling with you.” She slipped off her shoes and slipped into the blankets, then held his one hand. There was silence between the two, Olivia knew he felt awful about that night and she knew she had to clear the air about. “Her name was Ellie; she was my only best friend. That night she on a date with this cute guy, she liked named James...” She felt Draco becoming tense and, possessive. “Losing her broke my heart, an unbelievable event happened in my life and she was gone. Imagine the last thing she made me promise. It was to be a risk taker and be adventurous...” She turned to look at Draco, “mistakes happen Draco... I know you were angry and when you are angry, you have a fiery temper is in your nature. Also, you did not know there were people in that part of the forest, you were a kid and in a strange world. Draco... I forgave you because it was never in your intension to hurt anybody and, if you are wondering if I am being here is because of fear but... No, I am keeping my promise to Ellie and I grew to love you...” She realised she said the L word, and she panicked in her head and she said next made this worse, “... as a brother.” Mentally she hit her head, disgusted with herself for knowing she was developing weird feelings for Draco. Also, she knew he had deeper feelings towards her. However, she kept quiet and let the mood feel awkward. “I don’t know what to say...” Draco muttered, clearing his throat, feeling the awkward after hearing that Olivia saw him as a brother.  “Do you really forgive me? I’m a monster...” She lifted his hand and kissed it, “have you ever hurt me since I got on the ship?” He opened his mouth to say something, but he rethought her question. She smiled, “so when the time comes for you to go home, I’ll be there for you to support you.” “Really?” She nodded, “but my father may not be pleased.” “I’m not there to please your dad, I’m there for you. Only you...” “Thank you, Olivia. You’re the best and I want to apologise about that night, but I don’t regret meeting you.” He smiled. Olivia and Draco continued talking more and more about Olivia’s life on earth and what they plan to do on Draco’s planet. They joked a bit, slowly falling asleep and the following day, things were sensitive, but they continued then the next day, it was packing day. For that entire day, they packed, Olivia’s things were few, so it was easy for her pack and so she helped Draco, who enjoyed talking about daggers and swords once, enjoy. The day finally came, Draco and Olivia were finally going to planet DD06FS4W. Olivia still could not believe she was on that ship for three years, it felt like months and what was worse, Emma told her that Draco was older than her. Draco was twenty-five years old, but to Olivia, he was still that little demon boy she helped in the forest. No matter what happens on that planet, Olivia promised to have Draco’s back and will protect him. Ase was taking both Draco and Olivia into the planet with a teleported and Olivia found out that was how they brought her and Draco the first time, this time she was leaving the Genesis Spaceship, hopefully for good. They landed inside a stony palace; Olivia could not believe they were inside the palace. A dragon palace. “Please follow me to the throne room,” Ase said leading the way with an awe Olivia and a slightly nervous Draco, who was trying to put a brave face for his father. They pasted by two servants, who stared at them in confusion and wonder but Ase ignored them, so did Olivia and Draco. They stopped in front of huge thick doors that had steel design to two dragons on each door facing each other, suddenly the doors parted, and they all walked in. The throne room was grand and huge enough to fit the entire city population, but what stood out in the room was the throne chair that had an amazing background of the dragon skeleton in the yellow crystal. Olivia remembered Emma talking about it. Draco saw his father seated on the throne chair with the same expression from the other night, and he glanced to the chair on the side, where a woman sat. She had raven black hair with red highlights that placed high with a gold crown; her grey eyes glared down at them and her hand placed on her bump, to see even though she wore a thick material. She was pregnant. The trio stopped and when Ase bowed, both Draco and Olivia followed when they rose, King Agni sighed and looked at Ase. “Thank you once again for helping us and ensuring my son’s safety,” he said, and the Queen rolled her eyes like she wanted to say something. Ase nodded, and the King glanced to Olivia, “and you must be Miss Olivia, who saved my son and I am grateful and for that I shall give you power over my son’s residence and also, I will pay you in my son’s weight in gold.” Olivia surprised that the King was giving her these things, “thank you, your grace.” She said bowing again. The King’s gaze finally landed on his son, Draco, “my son, you need to prove your worth for the throne. For some time, we are dealing with a rebellious group over in North and with General Ken, you are going there to stop this group. They are an annoying threat and must be dealt with. You leave this today.” Olivia gasped under her breath and glanced over at Draco, who was also in shock
