Lily's POV We all fell into a comfortable silence. I think mostly out of exhaustion. We stopped and rested once, much to my relief and Zayden's. I don't think any of us stopped to think about what he must have gone through. Being stuck in a cell like that for so long weakens you. Im sure this trip is far harder on him than the rest of us. I questioned why he didn't just shift like he had done before. His wolf would be able to handle it, and it would take us way faster to get home.
