We all fell into a comfortable silence. I think mostly out of exhaustion. We stopped and rested once, much to my relief and Zayden's. I don't think any of us stopped to think about what he must have gone through. Being stuck in a cell like that for so long weakens you. Im sure this trip is far harder on him than the rest of us.
I questioned why he didn't just shift like he had done before. His wolf would be able to handle it, and it would take us way faster to get home. Landyn acted like he was too weak to shift, and I quickly realized he was full of s**t. He was only doing that, so Zayden didn't have to.
