Elsa The morning light filtered through the trees, and I woke up with a start. A gut-wrenching howl escaped my lips before I even realised what I had done. Panic surged through me as the sound of my own voice echoed in the stillness. The howl had come from a deep, primal place within me, one that I couldn’t control. The memory of it haunted me as I quickly decided to retreat into the forest, far from anyone who might have heard. I raced through the undergrowth, my movements a blur as I plunged deeper into the woods. My fur, stark white and almost unnaturally bleached, shone brightly against the dark backdrop of the forest. It was the kind of white that could catch anyone's eye from a distance. I was the only wolf with such a peculiar fur colour, and it made me stand out like a beacon
