The journey to the Eclipse pack settlement took two long hours. As we arrived, I noticed people gathering to welcome their Alpha.
They seemed genuinely happy to see him, and it baffled me how anyone could feel such affection for someone as cruel as Alpha Adam. Once the car stopped, I was escorted out and led into what appeared to be the Packhouse.
The settlement itself was beautiful, and the Packhouse was grander and more lavish than anything in my own pack.
I was struck by the size and opulence of it all. A maid took me upstairs, and my heart pounded in fear, expecting to be taken to Alpha Adam’s room.
