Scarlett's PoV :
"Okay What The Hell Just Happened?" i said to myself as i entered my room and closed the door behind me.
He was clearly flirting with me with all those cheesy nicknames and not to mention him checking out my legs since i was only in my pj's , i tried to hide behind the counter but a girl can only hide so much !
I guess he is single since he was checking me out , calling me all those nicknames but that isn't the thing that is bugging me the most , no, what's bugging me is that he showed such tenderness and care towards me when i burned my hand , hell, he even scolded me like i was a child , it was as if he truly cared but that can't be right ? i mean we just met he can't care about me this much this soon.
I shook my head to get rid of all Xavier thoughts, they were getting too much.
I decided to change into something else since i don't want these pj's getting me into more trouble than they are worth. So i decided to change into a washed off jeans and a t-shirt .
My eyes then landed on the self full of books just calling out to me to read them so i decided to pick a book and pass my time reading , Just the thought of having the whole morning to read made me giddy.
The whole morning passed by me reading , it was like i was in a whole new world. It tends to happen a lot with me when i read.
Deciding it was enough reading for a day , i got up from the bed fixing my shirt and throwing my hair into a pony tail , i made my way downstairs where a delicious aroma of food was coming from the kitchen . It was basically luring me into the kitchen like in tom and jerry .
As i walked into the kitchen i saw Mrs.Marshall with oven mittens on , taking out a sizzling hot dish of lasagna and just the sight of the dish was making my mouth water.
"Oh good you're downstairs honey , i was just gonna send a maid to call you for dinner" she said and i smiled at her
"Do you need any help?" i asked
"Oh honey nothing much everything's on the table just this dish is left" she said pointing to the lasagna
"Oh i'll take it" i said
"No its alright you go sit i'll bring it" she said
"Oh no Mrs.Marshall it's quite alright" i said already taking a hold of the dish with the oven clip dish holder and making my way towards the dining room.
Its nice that Mrs.Marshall makes dinner herself regardless the countless servants they have in the house.
I set the dish on the table and turned around only to be met with a chest clad in a white dress shirt. I craned my neck upwards to give that chest a face and it was none other than Xavier.
"Umm...i...i..i need to pass" i said more like whispered.
God why do i get so flustered when he is around !?
"Sure sugar" he said . Again with those nicknames.
He moved back but only an inch . UGH.
Not wanting to ask him again and making a stuttering fool out of myself i just passed through the space that was given to me and that caused my chest to brush against his and that's all it took for me to become a tomato.
"Oh good you're home for dinner" Mrs.Marshall said coming in and Xavier kissed her cheek.
"Yea what can i say your cooking drags me back home" he said .
That brought a smile to my face but it soon faded since it started reminding me of my mother . I don't wanna think about it right now ... or ever for that matter.
As everything was on the table now everyone took a seat at the dining table and as cheesy as it sounds i got a seat beside Xavier . Man this dinner is gonna be a flustered mess.
I tried to ignore the fact that Xavier was sitting beside me and started with my dinner taking a spoon full of macaronis into my mouth and as soon as the cheesy flavor hit my taste buds i moaned out and after that i couldn't help but moan out at every bite i took .
"I can make you moan louder sugar" i head Xavier whisper. I chocked.
Xavier's PoV :
The whole time she was eating her meal she was moaning at each and every bite she took and the souns were going straight to my groin , my hunger was long forgotten by this time.
I couldn't resist it any more so i leaned down towards her ear and whispered
"I can make you moan louder sugar" and with that she choked.
That wasn't my intention at all.
I quickly picked up a glass and the jug of water pouring some water for her and helping her drink while rubbing her back to soothe the coughing.
"Oh honey try to eat slowly , don't rush with your food" my mom said in a soft voice and Scarlett nodded .
She then looked at me with a glare on her face while i just passed her a wink and a smirk.
Damn ! She is so beautiful and innocent .
After that she got up putting her plate in the sink and went straight upstairs to her room and I did the same too.
Scarlett's P.OV:
After the very embarrassing dinner i decided to go back upstairs to my room and call Sasha she would go crazy hearing about Xavier.
I picked up my phone from the bed side table and face timed her.
"Hey gurl what's up?" she screeched into the phone on purpose making me cringe. Somethings never change.
"Oh well a lot" i said
"Really! tell me everything , is there a hot guy living with you?" she asked . Wow lucky guess much ?
"As a matter of fact there is " i said
"woohoo my girl's gonna get some! so tell me his name , looks and everything you know" she demanded really excited and i rolled my eyes.
"His name is Xavier, he is really rich and i swear he has looks to kill for plus he has been flirting a lot with me lately " i said
So the rest of the night basically went by with me sharing every single thing that happened since i came to New York. Maybe it won't be that bad.
