In an instant, everything around me slowed down. It felt like time itself stopped and I was just suspended there, trying to comprehend everything in front of me. A huge brown wolf ran around the yard, but what caught my eye was what was chasing him. Liam. A look of pure joy on his face as he zig zagged around trying to catch the wolf. I haven't seen that look since our last family camping trip when my dad made a rope swing into the lake. I could feel my throat growing tighter as tears threatened to spill over. I slowly step out of the car, not wanting to disturb him, but my eyes stay glued on the scene in front of me.
