The waves crashed against the cliff bank, the moon brought the tide and the cabin stood still at the entrance of the Hale mountains. I had not returned here since I left with Ryder, I also kept it a secret from her that I had returned. Diana’s boarders were within eyesight, but I did not dare cross as I didn’t want to start a war with another.
“You came alone, I would have thought Ryder would at least be with you,” Chris said as he approached the cliff.
