The man went away with relief after knowing that it was not Minara. He was able to breathe, knowing that she would not be in danger of being beheaded. He will not allow it to happen. Minara is very dear to him. He is the only one he has right now.
As he walked away from Minara, he felt a burden had been released from his heart. He would not know what would happen to him if he lost Minara. He had already lost everyone that he loved and Minara was the only remaining one. He would do everything to protect her.
