Bitten by a werewolf

Chapter 21

After the whole kiss thing I quickly wiggled my way out of his hold and hide in the cupboard as I get dressed while doing this all I could hear was Jaces little under your breath laugh through the cupboard doors.

Me , Jace ,Mike and Jenny all went to school in Jaces car which apparently catches alot of people's attention from what I saw through his tinted windows, as we pulled into the school parking lot Mike quickly runs the the other side of the car and to help Jenny out the back.Jace now  turned off the car and went to my side in the front to help me out. I could feel all the glares from the other girls as Jace helped me step out of his tall car with out falling.

He silently closed my door as he grabbed our bags which were where my feet had been in car. Jace quickly puts his arm around my waist as we all started our walk into school. I looked towards Jenny and Mike and see that he is doing the same thing to Jenny. If I could I would probably hide in Jace right now I think as I move closer to Jace as I pull my hoodie over my head. I could feel Jace moved his head around as if warning everyone thats staring not to look which they did.

"Here's my class" I say just as were about to pass it , I see Jaces face fall as he realizes that I'm not in his class since where in the same grade "are you in her class" he asks Jenny but she just shakes her sadly "no sorry Alice". I just smile at her as I pull away from Jace and take my bag from his hands "its ok ill see you later" I wave as they start towards their classroom, Jace hesitates as he lets go of my bag and goes with Mike and Jenny while looking back at me as I head in my class.

As I enter the classroom I can feel everyones gazes as they gossip between each other.

I make my way to the back of the classroom by the window. During our lesson I could hear the bits and pieces of everyone's gossip but being the none gossip person I am I try to zone it out but these new wolf sense refuse to allow me. All of the gossip mainly was about some girls and how they wouldn't be happy especially a girl named Sara and the rest were feeling sorry for me cause I was with Jace while others were annoyed by how close Jace was to me when we walked into school.

Like how is it my fault I think to myself as I roll my eyes and look out the window at the woodpecker's and other birds flying to the grass and than flying away.

Finally the bell rings for lunch time after our 4 lessons, quickly I packed up my bag and was the 3rd person out of the classroom. As I enter the halls and start walking I soon realize I don't even know where the cafeteria is. All I can think about is that I don't wanna look like a lost soul walking back and forth between hallways trying to find the cafeteria  and have everyones eyes staring at me, so I do the next best thing for me I go outside and site under the two trees by the field I saw while we drove into school.

As I place my bag against the tree and sit down to lean on the tree I soon am engolfed by 4 shadows hovering over me. I look up to see 4 girls with two type color hair styles as well as lots of make up and perfume with the popular style clothing and stance. The girl standing more in the middle takes a steps forward and glares at me as she swishes her long blonde tipped brown hair behind her shoulder " stay away from my man" she almost raises her voice at me as she says it while pointing a finger in my direction. "You know its rude to point fingers at people" the girl looks taken a back as she looks at me but quickly she fixes her face back to angry and begins again " I don't give a s**t just stay away from my man slut". This time I stand up and give her my angry glare which by the looks of most of their faces is terrifying but the girl talking to me still just manages to keep her composure "lets get things straight here so listen hear b***h im no slut unlike you who has probably already had her first time with many strange men and I dont care who your damn man is and I could careless but you have no right to call me a slut when you dont even know a thing about me. I bet you don't even know my name so get off my back or things will get nasty" I can hear a growl coming out from me which cause more shock on top of my words towards her "I'm giving you one final chance to leave me alone and go with your friends and leave".

I can see the fury growing in her eyes like a fire at how I was speaking to her and generally I wouldnt speak to people like this but I think after all that has happened and my new wolfie powers I can feel the courage growing through me as I speak my mind for once. "You will regret this " she yells at me as she and her "friends" leave off into the direction of the doors to the school. Soon I could smell Jaces scent as if coming closer but when I looked up all I saw was people going back into school which was weird since the bell hasn't rung yet but I just go back to watching the animals in woods by the field running around.

Im intrupted from my thoughts by a loud bang as it echos through the air. I turn to see a concerned Jace running towards me before he skids to his knees to look over me " are you ok are you hurt any where" he starts his eye search from my face to my arms as he checks with his hands on my face " I'm fine" I push his hand away as he squished my face, "then where were you I was worried sick when you didn't come for lunch" he looks at me all worried "I didn't know where it was" he heaves a sigh before rolling onto the grass next to me "you could have followed me scent" it takes a moment for what he says to sink in " on my gosh I forgot I could do that!" Jace just laughs at my shocked face and voice at realizing I could have done that and that would probably have saved me from talking to that weird populare chick.

"Have you eaten yet" he asks while drawing cirlcles on my left hand as he rests on the grass "no I was to busy wondering where the cafeteria was and  watching popular girls acting like they own everything". Jace laughs "yea they do think they own everything", I think whether I should tell him about what the girls said but I decided not to as I see his happy face when staring at my hand. As Jace is about about to speak again the bell rings signalling that lunch time is finished ,"dammit" Jace moans as he gets up and offers a hand to me to help me up.  I grab his hand and quickly I am pulled up with my bag in hand "you didn't even get to eat" he looks at me sadly.

He slowly entertwines our fingers as he holds my hand as we walk towards the the doors, "I'll get you anything you wanna eat when we go home" he smiles at me " anything" I say mischievously.

He catches onto my tone and bumps me into the side " I'm gonna order lots of yummy food" I laugh as I bump him back.

It feels so weird holding someones hand like this. As we started down the hall way I was met with icy glares as we passed the pack of popular girls from before , I look up at a chatful Jace who doesnt seem to notice and than back at them to see the girl that spoke last time was giving me a death glare and I return it with my own glare as we turn the corner away from them.
