Chapter 16

As i get out the bathtub i face palm myself for forgetting clothes. Really Alice you have to forget those.

I make sure to wrap the towel around my body tightly before existing the bathroom. Jenny is finishing her tea as she notices me coming in "why you in a towel" she looks at me with a questioning look.

"I forgot to bring clothes" i blush and Jenny quickly covers her mouth "IM SOOO SORRY i forgot. Let me just quickly get you some shorts and than we can ask Jace for a shirt".

"Can you ask please" she looks me up and down in my towel before debating " sorry Jace is to scary to ask can't we do it together" i sigh " fine ill just go in my towel" i groan.

" Can i at least get some underwear"

" I think i have a pair of panties that might fit but i dont have a bra"

"That's fine ill get when i get home"

"Maybe he will buy you new clothes" Jenny teases ,"im sure he doesnt have that much money to spend" i laugh at her.

"Didn't you know he's rich" Jenny asks shocked. "No" i look at her shocked, i mean yea this place is huge and all but i didn't really see the rich part coming.

Our conversation is interrupted by Mike knocking at the door , this scent thing is so cool i cheer in my head."Can i come in" Mike asks, Jenny is quick to grab the door to keep it closed " you can't come in" Jenny yells.

"Why" Mike asks questioningly "we busy changing".

"Oh ill come back later than" as I hear his foot steps fading away i quickly remember that i need a shirt from Jace "quickly call him back " i quickly tell Jenny .

"Mikey " at the mention of his nickname i can hear him rushing back like a puppy when his master calls.

I can't help but find these werewolfs so cute by how they react when their mate calls or talks to them.

I could just picture Jace acting that way and i can't help but smile and giggle a little." Whats so funny" Jenny questions me with a smirk on her face "I'll tell you later".

"What's wrong babe", "i need to ask you for something quick" Jenny looks to me since I was the one asked to call him back. "Can you pls ask Jace for a top" I yell through the door. I can hear the silence for a second since it was me that answered and not Jenny "Ok" and with that starts his fast walk to Jace room.

"Now tell me what was funny" Jenny corners me , i quickly explain to her and soon she can't help but giggle at it too " thats sooo true" she laughs.

Soon i can smell Jace outside the door and before he can knock im there opening the door slightly to grab the top and to sneak back in and close the door.

"How did you know I was here" he asks shock in his voice as I try slip back in the room. I just tap my nose so that he can see. My last glimpse of his face is shock and full of blush mode again. Hehe.

Me and Jenny quickly get dressed and make our way down stairs to the boys.

"Ready to go" Jace asks holding out his hand "ready" i say debating whether to take the hand or not. But Jenny make the choice for me as she pushs me forward into Jace while she throws her arms around a very happy Mike while planting a kiss on his lips.

Soon were all in Jaces fancy car, and no i dunno what car it is cause im not car person.

At least I can sit with Jenny in the back while Mike sat with Jace in the front.

On the way there Jenny was able to get me to sing along with some of the car songs before we finally reached my house.

I look up up the drive way that leads off to another path to the house. WAIT A MINUTE!.

I look at Jace as we all get out the car as I make my way to him. His face goes from happy to see me coming to confused at my face "how did you know where I live" I confront him. He blushes a bit before answering " your scent".

What? I look at Jace and than Mike and than Jace again " last night I followed your faint scent to find your house" he blushes. "But wouldn't the scent be gone after a few days" I question him now full of curiosity. "Well while i was searching I had other people search for more info about you since i could tell your new and from your bag that you go to the same school as me and I figured since your new they could find your information easier".

I guess that's logical since I'm new here than its easy to go search for me cause  im the only new person at the school so its not that hard to find out. I mean its not like they have to search through ten people.

"So wait did you find my house through my scent or through my information search" I look at him as we walk towards the house. "Both", I feel like my question. was answered but wasn't at the same time.

I quickly search through the plants by the door and eventually find the spare key and open up the door. As I enter I notice no noise and no brothers running around or parents discussing work by the living room table. "Where are they" i asked myself as I search the kitchen and than the rooms, "no ones here" Mike announced as he came into the lounge where we all met up " there should be a note some where. Can you guys help me look for it pls". They each nob and we go our separate ways to begin the search again.

As I look for a note I notice dust on the tables as if no one has been home for a few days and that's when i see it.

I pull the note out from under the cute fox magnet on the fridge.

Dear sister

Mom and dad have gotten a big lead for one of their research things so they going out of town for that and they want us to come with to help search for it what ever IT is. Will bring back a gift. Remember to eat and look after yourself.

I turn over the note and see their mark on back of a cheeky looking fox which they love to draw and leave on their notes. Great so they left me and no one even realized i was gone. I could feel my heart beat and my face fall at my sadness of realising no one was looking for me or was even worried that i disappeared. A few tears fell onto the note but quickly i just wiped my face and folded the note and put it in my short pockets before heading back to the lounge to think.

I mean my parents havent cared for us for a long time like parents should but they had their moments where they showed their love so even if they didn't notice i was sure my brothers would which they didn't which hurt ....alot.

I slowly dragged myself to the couch and sat down, laying back before looking at the folded note again.

As another tear starts to form I could feel two large arms fold themselves around me from behind. I look up to see Jace with a sad and caring look in his eyes and face as he hugged me from the neck up.

I could feel him breathing on my head, and i could hear is heart beat slowly soothing me from behind me.
