Chapter 8: My Mom Plan

“What the heck mom, you actually sign me up in this TV program. Why? You have NO right to do that!!” I angering at her.

On the other side of the phone, I hear she’s laughing. “Hahahaha, great you got in. Finally my hard work have paid. I told you didn’t I, if you’re not going to find a boyfriend and get married before your reach thirty, I will find it for you. You don’t want to go blind dates I set you up at the wedding, you failed the blind date after date. I have great patience on you on this. Now, NO turning back you will go this TV program and bring me a potential dates!! Or I will make you married a 60 year old bachelor that available on this town, you hear me!!”

“But Mom!!!” I protested.

“No buts!! You are going to this TV show, or I will make you married whoever I choose and you will not be able to get away with any of its!!” thud, she hang up.

Crap, she’s serious this time.

One week before the program, both sister heard the news from my mother; now she’s making my sister go out shopping to buy nice dress to be wear on the show next week.

“Really sis, don’t resist this time. Mom is dead serious wanting you getting married.” Said Riley.

“Yes Sis, I don’t think you can get away this time. It’s not like you don’t know her. She just want the best for you that’s all.” Hailey added.

“I know that, it’s just that the dates I’ve went just either not my type, or their type. I did follow her ‘advise’ not to wear jeans and t-shirt. When it’s not meant to be, means not meant to be, that’s all.” I said.

“Just make sure, you make a good impression on the show.” Riley warns.

“I agree with sis Riley, don’t mess up this time or there’s no other choice for you anymore.” Added Hailey.

I’ve roll my eye, “I know… even I don’t want to get married to 60 year old guy or any of her final chosen guy. I’m not stupid to against her this time.”
