“Did you get the invitation?” I asked my man. “Yes, we sneak in yours and your friend in the list of guest. We’ve indicate yours as distant relative of the groom sides.” Said George. “Good work, you’re pay check will be double this month.” Since they have been doing out of the scope work, I could at least give that. With a cheerful smile, “Thank you Sir!” they reply and they left. “That’s the invitation card?” ask Gideon. Taking the card away from me. “Yes, you’re coming right?” “What? Why? It’s your girl not mine.” He protested. “Come on man, you’ve being working non-stop take it as a short break.” Jason put his hand on Gideon shoulder. “You’re work enough, beside the after party will be fun.” He added. “Fine….” “Well?? Did you see her?” asked Calvin. “No, she’s not among the family. I think she’s with the bride. It is her sister wedding after all.” “Why don’t we go outside, maybe we can get her sight.” Jason suggested as he saw me being agitated from not founding Erica’s whereabouts. Right after we exit the door, bam!!! “Ouch!” I look down, crap it’s her. I hurried to her “Sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was going. Are you alright?” worrying whether the crash injured her. I reach my hand for her too take, as she get up from the floor while holding me. Ah. It’s being so long since I held her. “Yes I’m alright. I apologies, I too wasn’t looking where I was going.” She said As her brush off the dirt on her, I scanned her again. She looks like she lost weight. She look tired. Has she’s being eating well? Realising I was scanning her, she look at my eyes. “I’m fine, a small bump isn’t going to kill me.” She smile assuring she’s alright. “Well, I..” “Ms Erica.” The workers interrupt “Yes?” “Mrs Harpers requested for you in the waiting room.” “Do you know what this is about?” “She didn’t specifically said why, but she want’s you there.” “Alright.” She nodded. “Tell her I’ll be right there.” As she return the attention to me, “Well, I better go. My sister need me.” “You sure you’re alright?” I asked. “Yes. I’m perfectly fine. Good day.” “Good Day.” And she left. Tap Tap “Seems like someone have a nice conversion.” Tease Jason “Shut up!” I shove him. Can’t hide my smirk, my friends tease me more. “Let’s go back inside”
