Light fills the room, coaxing me from deep sleep to wakefulness. I stretch out and open my eyes before walking near to look through the window. It’s a beautiful morning, the sun was peeking up through the clouds. It was indeed a view. The bed was empty much to my dismay. Reed was already long gone, his scent was fading, he didn’t wake me before leaving. The thought make me sad for a minute. Yesterday was so much fun. We talked and talked till the manager of the restaurant himself came to tell us that it was too late and he had to shut the bar. I came to know so much about him. His favourite things, how he despised coffee, which I would like to change his opinion on. How he love to read, his love for literature, which I can already guess from the giant library he had back in the castle. H
