“Hello?” I hollered in the darkness. “Is anyone there?” I called out again but didn’t get the answer either this time. I don’t know where I was standing. Hell, I don’t even know how I came here at the first place. It was darkness everywhere.
I looked around for something. Anything. As if in cue, a light dimmed yet bright enough to catch my attention come from the farther most corner. I walked in the same direction, stumbling and tripping, I finally reached the light.
I felt rejoiced as I made a move to touched the light but it vanished in front of me like a mist. I groaned as I was again left in darkness.
