Mikhail:     My father didn't bother going over to pick her up. She just lied there with her arms wrapped around herself crying. Rip was seconds away from killing her and my father had done nothing to help her. I hadn't seen my mother shift since I was a kid. I never put much thought into it because she was never around and once I was old enough to be on my own I wasn't around.     The blue in her eyes confused the hell out of me. Rip had the blue because of all the lives she had taken. The black had come from the seven alphas she had killed without the responsibility that had followed.
