She is NOT his mate, guys. And some of you are getting confused between lycan and werewolf. They're two entirely different things in this book. Lycans are born naturally, like vampires, and they do not go berserk on full moons and do not turn into wolves that walk on all fours. They're more like that thing in Van Helsing movie (yes they called it a werewolf but that thing walking on two feet was a lycan to me). Werewolves are a cursed kind. They lose control and turn into animals during full moons. They're created by sorceresses, and the curse is passed onto the next generation. They're not naturally gifted by Gods that they would have mates. Werewolves do NOT have mates in this universe, nor do vampires. Lycans can, but it's rare.
