"Are you done with work?" Elliot asked as soon as the ringing stopped and he picked up the call. Nigella hummed in response. She had just arrived and th first thing she did was call him. Her phone was perched between her ear and shoulder as she opened the front door of the apartment.
She had called Elliot when she remembered that she had to do it, and Nigella did it knowing that if she thought of doing it later, she'd forget. The way she was busy with her studies, she might forget that she had other things to do as well so it was better to do them while she had the time.
"Just arrived home." She said, the door opened with a soft click and she stepped inside. "I saw your missed calls and messages. Sorry I didn't pick up, phone was on silent."
