14 Dreams. I was dreaming. It was a strange dream. I’d been transported into a new world with a strange, cold man as my companion. And there were a few pig-looking men and this creepy pale guy, too. Then I’d fallen. Fallen so far. And the cold man flew after me. He had leather wings and. . .and. . . “Alec!” I shouted as I shot up. Dizziness struck me and I turned over to toss my chips all over the grass. Wait, grass? Hard dirt? I raised my head and saw that I lay on the shores of the great lake, but the steep drop was gone.
