As I grew older, my condition became a whispered secret among the high officials of the pack. They knew about my unpredictable wolf, Gray, and how he could burst free at any moment. But despite the fear that radiated from those who encountered me, my father saw something in me that no one else did - potential.
Before I turned 17, my father awarded me a high rank within the pack. It was a move that shocked everyone, including myself. I was just a child, still learning to control Gray, and yet I was given a position of power.
