“I know when you tell a lie.” I said to Jerry, his eyes avoided my suspicious glare.
“No you don't.”
“Your hand is in your pocket, right now. It shows you're nervous.”
Jerry stared at his hand in his pocket and removed it instantly. “Why would I lie to you? I told you what happened already. I managed to defeat…”
“Keep quiet.” I shut Jerry up the moment I heard Iris and Helen's voice approaching through the hallway. They entered the room, glaring at Jerry and I suspiciously.
“I need to get going, I have work to do tomorrow.” Iris informed me.
I looked at Jerry. “Inform the doctor that I won't be staying here anymore. I don't like it here.”
Jerry was about to object but I stopped him. “Do as I have said, Jerry unless you want to get fired.”
“Yes sir.”
